Grrr...help?

i wanted to make Chloe a school box for her pencils. i had an old cigar box, started to decorate it and the lid seems like its about to come off. so i went to Joann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby but i can't find one of those plain white pencil boxes to decorate. then i decided to look online. the only place i found was a teachers supply website that had a set of 12. it was only like $12 but i don't need 12 of them lol. i can't find just one ANYWHERE. anyone have any ideas? and don't say Michaels cause i don't have one in Kokomo. i already looked on their website. i'm so frustrated!

I wonder if they'd have something like that at a dollar store... do you have a Dollar Tree or Dollar General there?

There used to be a site online where I ordered a ton of stuff to alter when I was a paper scrapper, but I can't seem to find the link now. I'll keep looking.
 
You could just buy the set of 12 and use them for other little storage items or teacher's gifts.
 
Have you tried a second hand store, like a Goodwill? Some have new stuff that is overstocks at other stores like Target.
 
thanks guys. i have been considering just buying the 12, lol. i'm sure i could think of other uses. i could make Emma and Aidan their own boxes too and use the other ones for something......
 
you could make a little gift out of them for the teachers. Maybe some personalized stationary and make the box match the stationary. For like end of the year gifts or for christmas. You could also make up little gifts for those unexpected birthdays. Like fill it with little goodies from the dollar store or something. Just some thoughts
