LAMEST
FINALE
EVER!!

whyyyyy Lexie??

Shonda Rhimes tweeted
“Do not expect to be comforted or happy at end of the GA finale. I wrote it and even I found the ending to be very unsettling.”

Boy was she telling the truth...was LAME

that was freaking lame, no more lexie and mark ever having a relationship again :( booooooo, i really hope that lexie just passed out and they will get rescued and lexie will live and some one else will die.

I know!! Why does it have to be Lexie!!! I love her!! I'm so bummed - and just as her and Mark were starting to reconnect!!!!! :(

I read one person's hopeful wish -- that it was all a dream and the next season will have Meridith waking up and Lexie won't be dead. Not gonna happen - but I would dream, lol

welllll.... i liked it. i thought it put things in perspective. here they all are trying to make up their minds on where to go & wish-washy on things and when it really came down to it - they had to get their sh*t together or die. Hunt...may be fired as chief. I firmly believe no one is leaving. Altman - maybe. That was hard to watch, but Hunt did it for her own good.

It wasn't AWESOME and great - it was really difficult to get through. Very upsetting and unsettling.

The windchimes - wtf is with the windchimes?

I think killing Lexi was ok.

I like it when a main character dies, it shakes things up. Although, I think it all couple have been more exciting. After the first couple minutes it was like ok, everyone is alive.

I guess I wanted more carnage, LOL!

Ahhh! NO! :crying: I loved Lexie. I will definitely miss her on the show. If Mark dies... that's it! :cursing:

OMG! I didnt see the new epi yet! but I'm curious! and I clicked here! and now I need to know what will happen!! Lexie? she died?? :(

reasons like this are why i gave up on so many shows.. i got sucked back in the last couple episodes but sheesh. how lame! honestly!

here is some more from Shonda: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/hf6723
And BTW I love her twitter description of her shelf - "I make stuff up for a living. Remember it's not real, okay? Don't tweet me your craziness." LMAO.

And reading Shonda's comment - I think all will be staying at Seattle Grace next year to "work things out." Now - I would be really surprised to see more people die come September.

I guess I don't get why people hated it. It wasn't happy by any means but it leaves season 9 open for lots. Will Derek lose his hand (um, we had this story line before), will Hunt & Christina get back together and will she have a baby? Will Arizona live? (I personally don't like Arizona...) What about Mark? If Mark makes it - what does the next season have for him - a season of regret? A depressed McSteamy? It leaves a lot open, but most season finales do. I can't name one that wraps everything up in a nice, neat package that doesn't leave some questions open.

I hate, hate, hate that Lexie died. She was one of my faves. :(

But - I didn't think the episode was lame. It held my attention, got me crying, and has lots of things going on and lots of things left up in the air. I'm very sad it was Lexie though - I really wanted her and Mark to work it out and live happily ever after. I'm not even entirely sure Mark will survive. Did anyone else think they heard a helicopter at the end though?

I agree with you - it certainly wasn't happy, but there is a lot of interesting stuff going on. I liked it if you can call it "liked."

I don't think i was grr about it because it didn't wrap things up.. I just wish they would do something OTHER than kill off a longtime character for something "shocking".. there is more than just someone dying to make a finale interesting :)

(its not always someone dying.. sometimes its "omg did that person die" lol)

I liked it too, but I really didn't want Lexi to be the one to die :( I wanted her and Mark to have their happy ending. I'm not a fan of Arizona so I wouldn't have minded to see her go and I want Karev to stay.

I knew before watching it that this was filmed before everyone had renewed their contracts so I figured there would be a lot of things left in the air - it ended with the possibility of anyone leaving/dying because Shonda didn't know at the time who was signing back on. I figure everyone has contracts for 2 more years so the show will end at 10 seasons.

I had myself convinced that Arizona was gonna die. I love Lexi, I'm so sad that she's gone. I kept waiting for her to clang on the metal again and let everyone know she was still alive.
I didn't hate it, I didn't love it. I knew that nothing was actually going to be for certain because it's almost always a cliffhanger.

I wish that Arizona or even April would have died rather than Lexi. Lexi dying is just as bad as when George died. When Mark went back and grabbed her hand I just started bawling.

I was kinda upset she dies so early in the episode lol I really would have rathered they killed off somebody else instead of Lexie :(
The whole thing kinda left me a little bleh like I was waiting for something to actually happen.
For derek to shoot the flare and accidentally hit the helicopter and there would be more carnage.
For Hunt to discover they were missing and get everybody together as they went to find them in the woods dramatically calling their names.
For Arizona to have her leg amputated as it was too infected but Derek had to do it one handed cause Meredith had a breakdown over the deathof Lexie.
I dunno just something to happen for me the episode was exciting up to where Lexie dies then they were just filling time x
