Grey's question...

George was called 007 because in the first season he was the first intern to have a surgery in which the patient died....all the interns called him 007 for "killing" him.

Col or Meg will correct me if that's wrong. :D

okay so on the first ever episode of grey's anatomy, Omally was picked by Burke to scrub in on a surgery. The interns were betting on how long he could last before he screwed up. He was so nervous, he screwed up and killed the patient. The interns nicknamed him "007" because 00 in agent code means "license to kill"

ETA: pulled that from the web. google rocks my socks. Sara is correct, lol.

I thought it was funny that they brought it back up last night, before he signed it to her. When they were talking about him joining the army, Alex said "007? He's the one that dies!" or something like that.

So it was sad and all and I know that there's this big question of who is leaving..both or one or none...but I really hate that all those rumors were out there b/c it kind of ruined it for me kwim? I mean I knew Izzy was going to die and I knew something was going to happen to George...so I think since I was already aware of those things it wasn't a big shocker episode kwim? It didn't even really get me that emotional..I did cry when Bailey broke down in front of the chief...she's really the best character on the show don't you think?

I was more upset that for a second I thought Owen was going to leave lol...I "heart" him :)

I totally cracked up at George when he was trying to tell Bailey that he'd joined the army..that was so funny.

Nikki - I agree, know those two actors had said they were leaving the series took away a lot of suspense. Now, I didn't think they were going to kill George - I thought the army thing was going to be his exit, so that was a surprise. But I wasn't sitting on the edge of my seat thinking wow - I hope Izzy lives - LOL. I'm pretty sure she's not coming back.
