Grey's Finale (sobbing and spoilers)

I swear, I will be PISSED at Shonda if they're both gone... yeah, whats-his-face would've blown it and it would've left her with no choice but to lie...

BUT STILL!! :cursing:

Sobbing, for sure. I don't think that was a cliffhanger. They're both gone. Nooooooo!

I don't think they are...I think I read one place that George is the only one leaving and another magazine (People) said both were staying..shrug

i would be ok with izzy (thought I like her) but I can't take George. :cursing: stupid people just stopping. Couldn't they have given us just a minute or 2 more.

There have been so many different rumors, I don't know. Last I read they were both leaving, which is why I thought it wasn't a cliffhanger. I so hope you're right and that one or both may be back. I'm heartbroken about the George thing. I need some hope to hang onto, at least until I've had some time to make peace with the idea that he may really be gone like this. :crying:

It's hard to tell what's going on. I've heard that they're both leaving, that only she is leaving and that only he is leaving. Too many rumors out there, lol!!

And join me in scowling and shooting eye-daggers at my DH for responding to my blubbering with "Well, luckily it's just a silly TV show"

:glare:

LOL. I got, "I don't even want to know" as he went up to sleep.

I just went back to a tv site and checked the rumors and dates. The George-only one was from Dec, Izzie only and both leaving were from Feb, and the 2 stories from late March said no one is leaving. I'd like to believe that, but it'll be interesting to see whether it's all games and rumors. If one or both is really leaving, could ABC and co. manage to keep it quiet until next season? I'm a little less torn up now that I have some hope back. I've made my peace with Izzie dying, but NOT GEORGE, not like this with no warning.

I'm sputtering in disbelief here...

How could they do that to us?
Leave us hanging without any inkling as to what's going to happen?

I'm so mad.

I'm with Traci...George looked fabulous!

I don't think Izzy's going to die...I just don't. I may be silly but..hey...I can't lose both of them! I was saying to the hubster last night, ya know, I don't think Izzy is really dead because she never got off the elevator." He shoots back at me, "well, if you wanna get all philosophical and stuff, George never got on. Don't elevators go up to Heaven?" LOL I seriously laughed my butt off. He normally makes fun of me when I go on incessantly about TV shows!

Holy cr@p people. I can't even deal. I was blubbering like a baby when Mer finally understood that George was signing 007. AND when Arizona explained to Callie why she thought it was awesome that he was joining the army. Zomg.

I don't think they both die. If they did, she would've gotten off the elevator and hugged him or some nonsense. I think only 1 of them dies, but I have no idea who.

I freaking hate season finales. I can't deal wtih them. It didn't help that we had a storm roll through and my satellite connection was all wonky.

I totally missed the show :(
Damn Finals!!!!!
And I can't watch on my laptop. I need to watch later on the desktop.
And now I am thinking I don't want to watch at all. I hate Grey's Finales. They always f*^k up a good thing. And when they come back it is like, three months has passed in real life and the show. KWIM? The don't pick up where they left off. They have progressed and we just have to deal.
The only other thing that makes me this frustrated is the time between the World Series and opening day. :glare:

It was a good episode. I was shocked that George was the John Doe! I'm not too surprised that T.R. (the actor that plays George) is wanting to leave the show. They have not written any good story lines for him in a while. And all the stories about him in the last couple seasons are all about him with various women... Callie, Izzy, Meredith, Lexi.... and all of them have moved on. But his storylines are just so blah. His one memorable moment for this last season was him walking Izzy down the aisle. I don't think the writers like to write for him. :( So, I understand him wanting to leave. As for the story, I think they acknowledged George's feeling of "not fitting in" when that soldier was saying that his own family doesn't understand him, that he doesn't fit in there... but in the military he does fit in. And George just really related. On top of that, Izzy is now married and I think he really is still in love with her. He knew something was wrong before SHE even knew she had cancer.

So, I think George really dies. Just think of the look on his face at the end. He was partly smiling, looking nervous, and waiting for Izzy... he was in heaven. Izzy however, did not look like she was in heaven... she looked freaked to me. She wasn't ready. It's not her time.

On a writer's perspective, they really gave her a rich storyline. And she did a great job. She annoyed the heck out of us with the Denny stuff, she made us worried about her health, and she made us bawl like crazy at her wedding. She will probably be up for the Academy Award for best actress in a drama. I don't think that the writers would do that for someone that is leaving the show. So, that is my perspective. LOL

Next season they will have to write in some more doctors. I expect to see new faces if they are killing people off. :(

And by the way... uh, can I be Lexi?? What is WRONG with her?? Mark Sloan is GORGEOUS and WONDERFUL for her. Mark, call me, I'll play house with ya ;)

i'll be sad if either of them leave. George is a sweetie and he looked so dashing in that uniform! i always loved seeing my DH in his uniform, lol. and i just adore Izzy. i'm mad at the show, lol.

ok here's what I don't get..why was George even outside? He told Bailey he was going to surgery before he told her he joined the army and was leaving tomorrow. Just caught that on my 2nd watch lol

so.... last night was the first night I ever watched Grey's... it was pretty good. It's a little soapy for me, so I don't know if it'll stick for me next season, but I was totally engrossed, even though I had no backstory on any of the characters.

I did find Alex's true feelings to be really strong writing though, about how he was married to someone with the memory of a carrot and how much it sucked. I liked that scene so much I made dh come in and watch it. =D

I kind of "got it" about George and Izzy in that last scene, that George and Izzy had something once... and since I am a writer, it didn't take much for me to pick up on a lot of the backstories. (also, I do see previews for the show... so I have a basic knowledge of what is going on, even though I don't watch it) I'm not really a drama girl. I'm much more of a scifi girl. =D

The closest I get to drama every week is House.

But if George dies, they why were they making such a big deal with the girl that he saved "Him being her Prince Charming"?? If he was just going to die anyway, why they have that girl stick around??

Gosh I dunno. I'm so torn. I hate waiting.

DH laughed at me and said that it was going to be a long summer for me! LOL
