I can't believe they did that. And I can't believe they didn't give her a REAL ending. Just walking to her car and never returning? Are they serious??

Also, I had no idea that she was the girl in the Hannibal Lecter movie.......
 
and thank you for remembering the name of the movie. LOL Hannibal Lecter was all that I could come up with.
 
jeez. I hate when they get you invested in a character and then make them leave. I'm not sure I loved the Callie/Erica storyline but I did like Erica.
 
I heard that this morning--wow! I agree with her "It's 2008!" comment. I haven't liked her character that much, but she was finally starting to grow on me a little. Either way, she didn't deserve to be let go with so little notice and no real ending.

My friend and I were talking about this story line just last night. She said it wasn't the story line that bugged her...it was the fact that they seemed to have no chemistry together. I'm just surprised they let her go to her car, and that was that. :thumbdown:
 
Wow...I was just starting to like her character & interested to see where the relationship & story line was going :thumbdown:

Thats true, they didnt have a good chemistry as an onscreen couple...


Wow... thats soo shocking! I liked her character, she was funny. I hope they can salvage it smoothly with her departure.
 
well since the interview was with HER, the only thing SHE knows is the last scene she has , which is walking to her car. So we don't know what the writers will do AFTER that to tie up loose ends and explain her departure. So maybe it won't be a random walk to her car,never see her again, never know why she left, but more of a the actress playing her doesn't know , because she was fired and doesn't have information on subsequent episodes.
 
I have to agree about the chemistry part just not being there, but apparently they've re thought the whole gay/bisexual storyline because now the new person coming on the show that was supposed to be bisexual is supposedly being rewritten.

Nevermind.. we were talking about two different characters. LOL
She also has Asperger's, which I hope will get some knowledge out there about it.

ETA: The character has Asperger's, not the actress.

I never really cared for her character or her relationship with Callie, but I think she deserves a better write-off than that.
 
I've never been a callica fan, but it definitely sounds like they could've/should've handled her departure differently.
 
I think Dr. Hahn has always been a very "negative" character. She never grew on me like the other characters have. She isn't a good teacher, she and Calllie didn't really have chemistry. I just didn't see her character staying around forever.
