hahaha I didn't watch, but my oldest daughter is turning 18 tomorrow and had a Grammy-viewing party at her dad's house for her birthday. I'm sure she would have LOTS of stuff to dish on!

Yeah I don't watch stuff like that, but I saw a friend's post about Kendrick Lamar's performance so I hunted it down and WHOA. Talk about a powerful performance.

I watched and thought it was kind of boring although I did like Lady Gaga's tribute. Mostly I wanted to know when wearing no bottom become evening wear?. I mean Taylor Swift basically wore a swimsuit with a coverup, lol. It all made me feel old.

I know! Even carrie underwood was showing her underwood. I was kinda underwhelmed too.. everything seemed a little lackluster.

I think there were a few too many technical errors too - mics not working or falling, people seeming confused about where to go. I didn't love the on-stage camera either - I've never seen up so many stars noses before - and that angle isn't flattering!

I agree: Meh. Seems like I watched for about 2 hours and saw maybe 2 awards given out. I didn't really get all the hoopla over Hamilton either. Maybe you had to be there.

I had the same thought! I've heard all these good things about it but the song they performed didn't excite me at all.

Just finished watching it with my 8 yr old. We fast forwarded a ton! So I agree with the meh.

As far as Hamilton - I just cut a piece of music for a skating student from the soundtrack. It's a beautiful piece! I wasn't extremely impressed with the song they performed though.
