Graduation, anyone?

Does anyone have a graduation to go to this weekend? My older daughter is graduating, and I'm frantically trying to enjoy iNSD before Sunday which is going to be at least a 14 hour day. There is an 88% chance of rain and thunderstorms that day, so hurray for an outdoor graduation at a stadium! :D

Not this weekend, but next Friday, my Emily graduates from university! Can't believe how fast the time has flown!

Not this year. Daniel graduated in 2023. I won't have another graduation to go to for a while.

Our school now has their graduation at our local civic center because one year the weather was awful, and everyone had to pile into the gym for the graduation. It's too small and there were parents who weren't able to see their child graduate. There was a major fuss about it - which I totally get - and then miraculously the graduations were moved to the civic center.

Make sure you have a bottle of water or two and a snack. And a book. LOL

No graduation, but Prom is tomorrow- my daughter is a junior, but her BF is a senior so he is taking her. So I'm doing her hair & makeup as well as making the boutonniere and bouquet tomorrow too! Our weather is supposed to not be great either- showers & low 60's when it was sunny & 80* today! Good luck Sunday! I hope the weather is okay for you!

We have some graduations...but it's not that season in MN yet! We have another month of school. Next year is my oldest son's graduation. crazy!

I was reading the instructions for the stadium, and it states you can only bring a clutch or tiny purse (I think 5x7 inches), no bags, no seat cushions with pockets or zippers, etc. . .what? When we went to my daughter's boyfriend's ceremony last summer (same university) it was held at the basketball area with the same rules. We even had to dump out the water from our bottles and refill them at the filling stations inside. Plus we have to park over a half mile from the stadium and sit 2.5 to 3 hours on stadium seats with no backs to watch approx. 12.5K graduates. This is not for the faint of heart! lol I'm still excited to see her graduate, though.

Congratulations to the one that graduate !!

My girl still has some exams comming her way, but if all goes well she will graduate at the end of this month and will get her diploma at the beginning of july!
