Gotta have it

I asked this on Facebook, but like LA said, some of you may not be blessed enough to be friends with me on Facebook :p

What's your "I've gotta use it?"
if there's a paper with paint splattered on it, I'm gonna use it.
flowers. MUST. HAVE. FLOWERS.
if there's a butterfly in the kit, odds are good I'll find a way to use it
a fastener of some sort (FYI, I'd LOVE an essentials kit in the shop, filled with screws, staples, frames, etc....)
and more often than not, a banner.

I have to have flowers, lots of flowers
Washi has become an essential too
More than one leaf/greenery please
If there is a wood paper I'll probably use it

Something glittery
paint/ink
little scatters (so I don't have to make my own)
solid papers
something to journal on
super-shiny epoxy stuff (flair, bubble words, whatever)

Oh I wish all kits would come with fasteners... haha Please just a little staple... :p I love me some paint splatter, too!

For me it is all about the theme and elements that support that theme... and if there are flowers, a wide variety of flowers and some form of greenery.

And striped paper... and double points for polka dot paper - I will use it if it is there! :)

I can't resist paint! and word strips! I would love love LOVE to see a set of word strips in the shoppe of sight words to mix into titles.... "a, the, it, was, that, we, us, you, and", etc in neutral colors (black, white, kraft) so they can be used with almost any kit. ;)

Excellent idea!

Hmmm, I can't resist using polka dot papers, strings, fasteners (especially staples of any kind), flowers and greenery of course, and word art for sure - not the journal card kind of word art but word strips that I can use for titles because I hate having to use an alpha since it takes too long :D

I always use paint/splatters/scatters on my plain(ish) backgrounds. I'd rather use a piece of wordart for a title vs. using an alpha. I love stitching & staples and usually use at least one if it's included in a kit.

Butterflies are my kryptonite. I almost always use one when it's included in a kit even if *gasp* IT'S A PAGE ABT MY SON. :p

If there's a hand-drawn doodle element (like those cute girls found in Blagovesta's kits) I gotta use it. Same applies to butterflies and luscious dimensional flowers.
If there's glitter ANYTHING, it must go to my page as well :)

scatters, string, curly ribbon, flowers, word art, butterfly, different types of greenery

Teeny tiny alpha snips, flat ribbons, flowers, greenery, neutral alphabets...those are the kinds of things I use in about every kit (or on every page, even if I pull them from other kits/packs). Papers - any paper that includes every color in the kit (unless I'm isolating certain colors) or kraft, or woodgrain. Or graph paper.

Solid papers, or prints that are more tone on tone or painted. Ribbons, stitching, word art, buttons.

I've gotta use butterflies too! And greenery, although I've been challenging myself to use less of it lately. I've also been loving patterned papers and I can never say no to overlays/graffiti/paint. :)
