My husband works for LCBO (government run liquor store here in Ontario) and has been there 7 years...but still considered "Casual Part-time". This means that during the busy time of the year he gets 40+ hours, but they can cut him back to like 20 hrs during slow periods, he doesn't get full benefits, no paid vacation, and when it is busy he works as much as 7 days a week. So...ya...really sucky!
But yesterday he found out that he is FINALLY he getting a full-time position!! This is such amazing news for our family! He waited to tell me until today and wrote it in my birthday card. LOL Another awesome part of it is he will be switching stores, so instead of working in the next town over, he will be working at the store that is only like a 10 min WALK away from us!
