...thank you for adding comments/reviews to your books when you're done reading them - I LOVE seeing what you guys have to say or thought about certain books! It's really helpful in deciding if I want to join you in reading them too.

I suck at blogging of any kind but I am actually really into checking in and updating my account over there and I've been loving seeing what all the rest of you Sweet Shoppers are reading too!

hehehehe... I know this isn't aimed at me cause I STINK at updating. I think I'll go do that now. So what if I should be working? I know my boss will understand. ;)

LOL Libby

I haven't updated since I signed up but you just motivated me to go there and do some updates.

ohh and i'm SLIGHTLY embarassed by my reviews because robin, you sound like a professional book reviewer. lol. you have a great way with words :)

I am seriously addicted to Good Reads!! I love being able to add any book I think looks interesting to my "to read" list so I don't forget about it. I love some of the groups they have also, they are a great way to find new books! Not to mention the never ending trivia game is a blast, even though I suck at it. LOL

I suck at updating... oh wait. That would mean I have to actually read a book.... LOL

I am reading Danielle Steel's Honor Thyself right now for an easy read. It's okay so far.

I need to get into some of the other books I have waiting for me but I'm just too darn tired to read when I get done doing motherly/housewife stuff at night.

I need to update. I love reading the reviews too but I never do them :o

I'm too embarrassed to even play that! I love to read but often my memory doesn't like to retain the books i've read. lol :)

Yeah, that can be me too. On more than one occasion I've figured out half-way through a book that I've already read it.

So hey... can any of you convince me to read either of Ken Follett's books? I'm always tempted to pick them up when I'm at the bookstore but they look gigantic so I always go with something lighter instead. I felt the same way about The Other Boleyn Girl and was pleasantly surprised by how awesome it was and what a fast read it ended up being - I read it in just 3 days.

Would love to hear from anyone who's read A World Without End or Pillars of the Earth...

Robin, I enthusiastically recommend both books! I read Pillars of the Earth in high school, and LOVED it, so I have devoured everything else I have found by Follett since then. My mom calls A World Without End the Book Without End, but I enjoyed it. :)

I know I signed up for Good Reads months ago...hmmm...maybe I should go back and check it out again. :)

I loved Pillars of the Earth. It was a great story, had a well described setting, interesting well developed characters and is historically accurate almost on everything.

I didn't really care for World Without End though

I must have been living under a rock. Never heard of this site, I'll have to google it.

I was disappointed in Pillars of The Earth, it was alright but I've read much better period pieces. I love a good long book but he could have easily cut out a couple hundred pages or more and still told the story. Give Sharon Kay Penman a shot :)

Can you give the clueless some help and link us up? This sounds like an interesting site! :D I never have any ideas what I should read next!

I am reading Pillars right now and really enjoying it, it is a whale of a book though at 900+ pages, but sucked me in and is keeping me interested, there are a couple things that are annoying me, but if you like historical fiction, then I would recommend it!!
