Lena called me earlier and asked me to pass on the good news! She finally heard from David just a little while ago. He still won't be able to graduate but he gets to have family day today with her. It will be around 4 before she can get to him but they will be able to spend some time together until 9 or 10 I think :). She said they will let him retake his PT test on Monday and if he can pass it he'll get to go on to AIT!

I'm so happy for her! I hope she and the kids really enjoy their time with David today. Hopefully he'll pass the PT test on Monday and will be able to head on to AIT without delay!
 
That's great news! ANY amount of time with him will be better than nothing. I'm so glad she decided to go anyway. Keeping my fingers crossed that he passes his test.

I remember that being Jaime's BIGGEST fear... something happening that would make him get stuck there for extra time. It has to be so hard on her hubby!
 
Oh, that's awesome she still gets to spend time with him today!! I'll be sending lots of positive thoughts to him - hope he can pass and move on to AIT!!!
 
Oh that is wonderful! I am so happy for them! It is so important that they get this time together! Tell her to enjoy every second of it!! ((hugs))
 
Yay that's wonderful news! I'm sure she & the kids are so excited to get to see him for a few hours!!
 
That's fantastic news! I am so glad she gets to at least see him. I bet this is the motivation he needs to pass that test. :thumbup:
