I have my second appt in the specialized center in 2 hours, and we should find out if and when we'll have an IVF procedure scheduled. I can't wait to know how things will go on from now. Well, actually, I'm freaking out!!!!:unsure:

Any prayer, good luck wishes and positive thoughts would be really appreciated! Oh, and if any of you girls went through that, any testimony would help me too! TIA, ladies!!

good luck sweetie!!

I went through 6 months of fertility treatments trying to get pregnant with DD (now 5)...it didn't come to IVF though. I had to have laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, then went through 6 months of IUI (intra uterine insemination) and took Clomid. It was very stressful and time consuming - I had to go to the doctor's office three times a month so they could measure and give me shots at ovulation and do the insemination.

I wish more people talked about infertility things - I was always very open about it with everyone. I just assumed I'd get pregnant the moment I tried to, like all of my other friends!

And everyone kept telling me "relax, it will happen when you stop worrying about it so much". ARGH!

So hang in there and keep us posted!! Who knows - you could be back here in a year posting LOs about your brand new twins...:p
 
Good Luck! I hope you hear that all is clear to go and that your treatment plan is straightforward! Hang in there! I know how crazy this path is!

Thanks for the wishes, girls, I think it worked!!! We won't have to make an IVF since DBF's results were much better than the first test, and we have planned an AI (artificial insemination) for February! I'm so excited!! I was sure it would take much longer to move on and have something really planned, this is such a relief!!!

Beckie, I know how the "relax and it'll happen" feels... just drives me crazy!! But now at least I can tell to all those good intentions people that NO, it won't just happen, but that we're working on it.

Thanks again for your support, you're the best!!

It definitely does... even if it's not on DBF's "little swimmers" LOL, it does on my spirit and stress level, and that's already a big help!! Thanks again. Oh, and don't worry, you'll hear about it, probably more than you wish! LOL
 
Oh hooray! I am so glad that you will be able to do AI in Feb! Good luck to you!

With any fertility treatment, make sure that you go in and get the HCG test-even if you get your period.
 
oh wonderful news!

Moriah is a clomid baby... I have PCOS and didn't ever ovulate on my own
then after Moriah, I didn't have problems getting pregnant, just problems keeping them. After 3 miscarriages we went to an RE and had all the testing done to find out I developed a clotting disorder and that's why I has having the miscarriages... I was then put on blood thinners and still had another miscarriage... at that point we decided that IVF was our next option. With tons of prayer we became pregnant with twins with our first try... we ended up losing Isaac's twin at around 8 weeks but Isaac survived and just recently turned one... we have 3 frozen babies and we hope to do IVF again in a couple years, but the likelihood of them surviving the thaw is pretty slim :(

Thanks Heather!! I've heard too that it's hard to get preggo with frozen babies, hopefully it'll still work!!

Robin, I will be scheduled for a blood test right away, 'cause the fertility treatments can actually mess up with the pee-testing (sorry, don't know how to say that! LOL). That way I won't have any false joy or deception! To be honest, I'm not sur that I'll be able to resist the temptation of testing at home, I think I should throw away the tests before. Anyone else TTC would like free PT? LOL
