Okay, I just signed up for this thing (pauladuncan, if you wanna add me) and I have to say it is kinda cool!! I will miss Hello but I think I can get use to this!! :D

Anyone have any tips on it??
 
I had to uninstall it, I got the blue screen of death on my brand new laptop right after I installed it. It works fine on my desktop though. I was annoyed, I really liked it!

I wasn't the only one it happened to, but like I said, it works perfect on my desktop, so I don't know! I wonder why some of us have issues and some don't.
 
I uninstalled it too.. it was majorly clogging down my computer I couldn't take it.. I'm s upposed to be getting some work on my computer this weekend so maybe I'll try again after that but bleh. I didn't like it anyway :D
 
I haven't had a problem with clogging and it seems to be running fine so I am just running some scans to make sure nothing piggy backed onto my system with it!!
 
tbh, I wasn't a fan of Goober but probably because I became such a "Hello" snob... I am totally boo-hoo'ing that there are just minutes left of it...
 
MSN does screenshots so I'll probably be using that and Yahoo more than anything. I do have Goober installed though.
 
Jennilyn, how do you get MSN to do screenshots? Mandy and I tried it the other day and it didn't. And to top it off, with Goober when we send each other screenshots they come up as grey boxes. Anyone else had that problem?
 
I've been doing Screenshots through Yahoo, Amy. It's a little more involved and takes some getting used to, but it works and doesn't screw up my computer. So that's what I'm sticking with. :)

I started having that grey box problem in goober, and then I was getting RAM errors on my brand new laptop. So, I uninstalled it and haven't had any more problems since.

Are you using Jing? We tried that too and I hated it. What a PITA! But....I might have to.
 
Well, for PSP or PS or whatever scrapping program you use, it doesn't take that long to make a screenshot then save it and share it in Yahoo. It's just about as time consuming doing it through MSN. Through Yahoo you get the same screen next to the chat and a little slide strip of the photos you've shared, just like Hello. I don't think any way of doing screenshots will be as quick as Hello, no matter what IM you are using.
 
Goober slowed me waaaay down so I uninstalled it. Tried that qnext too slow so its gone too. If there is nothing good it looks like my chatting days will be over.

Yeah, I'm using Jing. I didn't like it at first, but I've gotten pretty quick now. Seriously, it's just a couple clicks of the mouse, and I've got my screenshot sent. Less than 30 seconds. i can deal.

It's the same just by using your scrapping program and Yahoo...about 30 seconds.
