Gonna have to show my ignorance

I've looked a little and I know a few, but I am still confused by some of the abbreviations that are used in the forum. Is there a list that explains them anywhere? I know ones like OMG, LOL, etc, but it took me forever to figure out SAHM. And I know that DH, DD and DS refer to husbands, daughters and sons, but what exactly is that first D for? Dear, Darling, Darn? I'm kinda embarassed by this, but my curiosity finally got the better of me.

the meaning of the d probably depends on your mood but it really does typically mean dear.

DH- dear husband
DW- dear wife
DS- dear son
DD- dear daughter
MIL- mother in law
FIL- father in law
SO- significant other

Is it just me or is this getting just a little crazy - FTW - WHAT??? I can pretty much guarantee that I have never used this in a sentence.... and left on my own I promise I was never going in the for the win direction
Am I just showing my age??? I think I need a list for my own personal colloquialism's like.....
