Gift Certificate question

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I got a gift certificate that is less than the product I want to buy, is it possible to use the gc and then pay the balance? How do I do that if it is?

you would enter the g/c info on the pay screen then it will subtract the amount of the g/c from the total and tell you the new total and give you the option to pay with paypal or a credit card.
