Gas prices going down

Is everyone else's gas price going down? I was just at the shopette and they were in the process of lowering to 3.19! It was packed, and they had to stop everyone from pumping so they could switch the price, so there was a wait, and I left without getting any. I think I'm going to go back up, though, because we've had a 10 gallon limit on our gas for a few weeks and we keep running out. Not sure if it's still limited, but I wanna get up there before everyone gets off work and heads over to fill up!! And we're only at a quarter tank right now.

yes its been as low as 2.88 at one gas station. That gas station had over an hour wait and fights broke out over gas there. Mostly it is around 3.20ish for regular though

It was at $2.89 when I saw last night here! I never thought I would see less than $3 again. I need gas, too.

Oil is down to less than $78 a barrel, so that's why we are seeing a decrease at the pump. It's the cheapest in 13 months - topped out at over $140 a barrel in July.

And you know what's sad? We heat with propane, also cook with a gas stove. And they are NOT going to share in the savings; they're simply going to gouge the heck out of us.
end of rant, I just had to let that out, lol.

Yes! It's been going down slowly here...it's supposed to be less than $1/L soon, which it hasn't been in SOOOOO long! I think that would be about $2.50/gallon comparatively.

HOWEVER...our natural gas is going to be SO bad this winter. They purchased it at the high prices and now that we're getting into winter and using it, we're having to pay the price they paid instead of the price it actually is. OUCH! It's gonna suck...gas prices are high in the winter, but it's going to be worse because that.

Bree, 1 gallon = 3.79 liters, so for it to be $2.50 a gallon here, it would have to be about .69 cents a liter...I doubt that'll happen any time soon. LOL

Oh, haha...I thought it was like 2.5 L = 1 gallon...I'm not very good at conversions. :p Dang US and their weird ways.... ;)

I saw it at $3.09 but was unable to get any due to it being the really slow pumping gas station. I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for the guy ahead of me to fill up & then had to leave so I could meet the school bus on time. All the pumps were slow, there were 2-3 cars waiting at each pump.

There was gas at $3.09 in town, you just couldn't see it from the main road, so everybody on the main road is stopping at this station. I had to head the opposite direction though. I'd passed it up while in town because it's easier to get to this station. That'll teach me....It'll probably be back up to $3.89 tomorrow.

Gas is about $3.299 here. In Milwaukee there are reports of $2.999 prices. Too bad that's 90 miles away. :D

Wow, all of you with gas under $3.00! And I was happy to see it at $3.39 here because it was $3.80 something last week...
