Gallery Issue

I am posting a layout and adding the details but the details get erased every time I try to upload it, then I add or edit it, and still I can not include my credits. I also can not seem to leave a comment on my photo, it says You did not fill in the comments or rating field. I can leave comments on other peoples layouts though..

I restarted my laptop, the browser, deleted all my cache and entire history and none of that has seemed to help.

Anyone else having this issue ... can someone copy n paste my credits? lol

Someone must have done it for you, but not posted to the thread, since I'm able to see your description. The cause is almost always an issue with special characters (#, :, %, &, etc). It's not always the same one. It might to do with what combo was used.

It doesn't like something about that first sentence. I assumed it was the # or : but it still doesn't work when I take those out. I was able to add a shortened version in for you. I hope that is okay by you?!

You beat me to the reply. Lol..
 
I had that issue the other day with one layout. I did exactly the same thing as I always do but it would not accept the description. I ended up taking out all extra characters and posted that layout successfully. Every page since then has worked as normal including all the extras like # : - . and numbers ....

I bolded what I've been having problems with lately copy/pasting from the FAQ thread. Once I remove the # . : it always posts with no problems.
 
When I want to include this Feb Passport Challenge #15. Color : Scrap with this month’s color swatch. sentence to my description, it's not the # that gives me problems, but the ' from month's.
 
Same for me. Sometimes when I use the apostrophe on my credits, it posts, but most of the time it doesn’t. So to be sure, I just remove the apostrophe before I post the credits for like, Meagan’s Creations or changing my phrase if I am doing a scraplift credit.

I've always used # and never had a problem, so you ladies are correct that it is probably the apostrophe.

Hey ladies. I have found a solution to the apostrophe issue. I’m not sure if it will work with everyone, but I noticed that if I will enter my credits with the apostrophe on the credits box by typing there directly, it works okay instead of the copy-paste that I always do. So for two weeks now, I am able to enter Meagan’s Creations with the apostrophe on the credits correctly.
