Have you (or do you) ever had a funky hair color?
I'm going tonight to get blonde and purple tips put in mine and I'm SOOOOOO excited. :w00t::w00t:
 
I've had blonde with bright Red tips.... and I've had blonde and a whole layer underneath done in bright red too. Loved both! If (when) I go funky again, it'll be to a lighter blonde, but I want 4 or 5 strips underneath each done in a different color.... love how it looks curled with random ringlets of color. :)
 
I really want funky color but I'm a teacher and I can't during the school year... and then I usually work most of June, too. So I'm thinking about it this summer once I get done working. I just want dark with a streak of pink or purple....
 
Sean told me I'm too old! LOL! I've never dyed my hair, I'm pretty afraid to actually.

Keira has had hot pink highlights and purple hair before!
 
I've always wanted to do something funky....I'm not brave enough to try it.

Can't wait to see yours!
 
I just realized this is my last chance to have pink hair again. Lol. I don't think I'll be allowed to once i get to clinicals for phlebotomy in November. Booooo haha
 
I've never colored my hair before. I want to do some purple or blue one day when i'm brave enough
 
No. I work in a conservative environment, so it wouldn't be appropriate. I'd be up for something temporary, but it just never occurs to me, lol.
 
I had pink streaks once. Right now, it's bright copper. I love pouring dye on my hair every once in awhile; nothing really permanent, it always washes out.
 
I haven't. I have thought about it.

That's my problem. With the shade of red my hair is, I doubt any of the bright, funky colors would look right at all. Blonde highlights is as 'funky' as I've gone (once, the only time color has ever been in my hair) LOL

I've had purple hair and orange hair (back in the day), but neither on purpose. Haha! Thought I'd get a nice auburn colour and it went bright orange. Another time using home hair dye again, I thought I'd get a nice reddish hue, only to have it go deep purple.
 
oh that's cute! I love it on you! My hair grows insanely fast so I don't bother with coloring it. It takes too much effort to keep it up. My roots start showing withing just a couple weeks. But that good part of that is when I cut my hair into a pixie and it was awful, it grew out in about a year! haha
 
Love the hair! I am like Sheri I work in a conservative professional environment and I could never get away with it. But I kind of always wanted like dark blue highlights underneath.

Next, I want to do a teal/purple and trying fading the colors with black ... maybe around or after my birthday. My 6 year old is trying to talk me into coloring her hair purple.

Similar to Jacinda, I've had green hair... but not intentionally!!! LOL

I saw a girl at Starbucks the other day with purple/blonde streaks at the tips of her hair and it looked so FUN, so cute. I wish I had the bravery to do that but I don't want to mess with the color of my hair. I finally grew out all of my color and it's my natural shade of brown right now for the first time in 20 years!
 
oh...I love the idea of colored tips!!! Wonderful!! Maybe this summer I'll do something like that too. I like the purple!
 
Woot woot! I love bright hair! I've had red, pink, purple, blue & green.

I always had pink for over 20 years. But last time I did it I had a nasty old lady make me feel like crap. So I dyed it black and haven't been pink for 3 years :( So now I do it in my daughters hair instead :)

Did you bleach it first, Tronesia? It's SO hard to get my hair to lift color because it's so dark and coarse?

my girls are DYING to get theirs done too. I told them over the summer. lol
