Fun Weekend Plans?

We have a four-day weekend here so I'm psyched to not have to spend 90 minutes in the car tomorrow & Monday getting Miss Monkey back and forth to school. :p

Besides that, my mom is bringing us lunch tomorrow & then taking Mister Moosey to a 'My Grandparent & Me' party at the local parks & rec building. Miss Monkey is getting picked up by my sister for a Minecraft playdate at her house. I might get a couple of hours to myself at my own house during the day! :w00t:

Tomorrow night, our church is hosting a Date Night event that we have prepaid for but the weather is supposed to be pretty bad so I might just call it an extra tithe and keep them home. :D If I do manage to make it out there, both kids will be there from 6-9, and we will probably eat Jimmy John's for dinner & binge-watch something on the big TV in the basement.

My mom, sister, & I are going to a craft show Saturday or Sunday (depending on weather) in downtown SB. Most of the stuff they'll be selling there is not really my style but you never know what you might discover. My sister is a super bargain hunter so it's always good to have her around to haggle if necessary. Ha! We have church Sunday, of course, and we also have some new (to us) furniture to pick up sometime over the weekend.

Oh, and I asked some friends of ours to come over for a Valentine's Day/Presidents' Day (Miss Monkey's idea! LOL!) party Monday but I'm not sure if they'll be able to make it or not. If so, we'll do some kind of craft, snack/lunch, and hang out/play in the basement. They haven't seen the new house yet and would be our first non-family guests so I'm hoping they do have time to swing by.
 
Not and huge plans here.... tomorrow afternoon our towns winter carnival begins. The skating rink they build open for the rest of the season, they create an awesome sledding hill every year, lots of snow sculptures, and small events through the weekend and no event in the area is complete without fireworks on the last night. :D This will be my first really photo opportunity of the year (and I hope it inspired me to get last years winter carnival plus this years all scrapped up :)).
 
Not alot... its going to be pretty warm here this weekend so I'll be indoors in air conditioned comfort. Have to take the boys to the library tomorrow, family movie night, homework starts for the school year this week so will have to start pestering the boys about doing that again....
 
we have a 3 day weekend. hubby planned a nice dinner and night away on SAT! looking fwd to it!!
 
Just the usual to be honest. Though this weekend I need to clean the tip called my bedroom since I've only got two weeks til I start uni again.

Not much going on here - we're in our coldest snap of the whole winter (-14F here this morning) so we won't be doing anything outside (other than dashing from the car into a building!). Cheyanne starts on winter break after school is out today (a whole week off) so I'm sure she has some plans with her friends. We are going to the movies on Sunday I believe.
 
Not much here....we have a three day weekend as well. Sunday I have my last long run of my 1/2 marathon training - 10 miles. Next Sunday is my race.
 
Nothing exciting here... we are thinking of going to the Parade of Homes - where you tour new homes to see builder's handiwork (if thinking of building) or get ideas for remodels. Otherwise, I have to finish my father-in-law's CD booklet. He cut another CD and I guess I'm designing the cover/insert? haha... wasn't asked to do it, just expected I'd do it... which is cool - then I make sure my son's photo is on the cover. ;)
 
we have a winter carnival here too.. although with the way our winter has been it will be more like a spring carnival. There are fire works tonight (HUGE treat in the winter because it's dark earlier so fireworks go off at 8pm instead of 11-12 in the summer when it gets dark then... lol) Tomorrow will be stuff like skating and sledding, hopefully enough snow and ice for that to be fun lol
 
We aren't doing too much exciting here either. The boys have their last indoor soccer game Sunday after church. Saturday my mom and sister are coming for dinner probably. Monday everyone is off but weather is iffy so not sure we are doing much.

I have the next 6 days off work! Tonight we are leaving for Minneapolis, tomorrow we go to a MN Wild game and have supper with my boyfriend's best friend's family for his birthday, then Sunday we are going to the science museum before heading home. Monday night, Nick is having a friend come to spend the night, he's going to stay all day on Tuesday until I take them both to a birthday party at trampoline park. Wednesday I get some down time to myself. I am pretty excited.
 
Do some cleaning in the house tomorow.
Go to some shops.
A bit of scrapping..
Working on sunday.
But hey i wont complain.went to disneyland paris last weekend.
 
Saturday: Girl Scout Thinking Day festivities in the morning; belated birthday dinner in the evening

Sunday: church, followed by puppy school (learning 'leave it' this week...we NEED to get this one down!). After that one of my besties is coming over to take some last portraits of Bear for me...we are having to put him down on Monday morning :crying:

We had a busy day yesterday. Snowboarding (my son, not me), then a dinner engagement, then youth group boys over last night. I'm tired! Thankfully nothing on my plate the rest of the weekend. So I get to scrap! Hooray!

Yay for being able to scrap! I have nothing planned either, except for buying bike helmets for the kids so they can start riding their bikes!
 
We have a 3 day weekend, too. Looks like we'll mostly be home. It's cold and we have a few repair people scheduled to come. This morning was Lauren's birthday party (postponed by a blizzard 3 weeks ago), this afternoon I went refrigerator shopping since ours just broke, and tonight DH took the kids to a college basketball game.
