Fun Weekend Plans?

Anybody got anything fun going on?!

DH just got back from visiting his son for a few days in Indiana (and had two job interviews, too!) so he has to work this weekend. I'd still like to get some fall leaf pics of the kids, but I don't think I can wrangle the 17 month old and take pictures at the same time. Maybe if I can find a big enough park I will just let him run and be crazy and try to keep up with my camera.

So, yeah, we have no plans. :p
 
Fall pics are the plan for Sunday I think, although it's supposed to only get into the 40s during the day :blink: Just need a couple shots for the grandparents for Christmas so we'll see.

I work Saturday so nothing exciting there. Last football game of the season tonight for DD's high school, so I'll be working in the snack shack while Cheyanne is in the stands hanging out.

I also need to do some "getting ready for winter" things around the house - putting plastic up on my screened porch, digging up bulbs that need to winter over in the garage, etc. So yeah, not fun stuff really :D
 
Janelle - I bet that'll be so much fun.
I'm heading out in the morning for a photo walk at a bird sanctuary. I've been there in the spring and early winter but never in the fall so am excited to go. I love to take photos of the scenery and the birds. Then later we're going out for our anniversary dinner (18 years) at a local restaurant that we don't go to often b/c it's too pricey so I'll enjoy the extravagance. Then on Sunday I'll be on the computer all day editing as I'm working on a wedding I shot recently. Busy but fun weekend ahead. Probably not much scrapping but maybe a page or two if I take a break from editing.
 
One of my good friends and my brother are both coming to town tonight and we are going to a college football game tomorrow. I'll spend time with them too, Sunday, I gotta work though.
 
We have a few plans.

Saturday
1. going to town to get my hair cut and buying a warm jacket for Noah
2. visiting friends and chill out in the evening

Sunday
staying home in our jammies all day long.
 
I'm so jealous of those of you with nice fall weather. It is still in the 90s here in San Antonio. My pumpkin patch photos may have us all in swim suits at this rate!

We don't really have anything going on this weekend which is fine with me. My parents where here visiting the last two weekends and next weekend all three of the guys are going camping so it would be nice to have a weekend of nothing!!

My oldest is going to a dance tonight at his middle school. It is sponsored by the game club and it is called Geektoberfest and it is a costume dance. He wasn't sure how many people were wearing real costumes so he is going as Percy Jackson. He's got a Camp Half Blood t-shirt and jeans. Should be fun, just wish I could be a fly on the wall!
 
We've had so many busy weekends lately that I'm looking forward to doing less this weekend! We don't have any plans for tomorrow, and I'm hoping to keep it that way. On Sunday my oldest has a flag football game and my youngest has a trip to the pumpkin patch with Daisies. I'll have to spend a few hours working tomorrow, too.

We're heading off to my Nana's 100th birthday lunch today, then later in the afternoon my dd has a friend's birthday party to go to. That'll take most of our day. Hoping to scrap tonight.
 
Well it's raining, so I think my weekend plans will be cancelled...

So...I think DS and I will head to Hobby Lobby and get started on Halloween costumes and a school project he has.
 
We have a church Halloween party tonight then we're helping my parents with their storage unit tomorrow morning. The girls have a birthday party in the afternoon and then we're all going to my in-laws for a gender reveal party. Sunday is meetings, primary program practice at church, then hopefully a nap!

I don't think it qualifies as fun... but I just took my son to his swimming lesson, I'm about to take both boys to their dentist appointments, family movie night tonight, and tomorrow if its not too hot (we're up around 38 deg C again ~ sigh ~ and summer's still a month and a half away), we might play some tennis.
 
Flag football tomorrow with a trip to the grocery store at some point. Watching college football in the afternoon. Sunday we are celebrating my oldest's 8th birthday at a local rock climbing facility. Should be fun!
 
It's Fall Break here. Hubby took the boys to the BYU football game tonight. The girls and I went out to eat and to get froyo. We're heading home in a bit to make bracelets. Hopefully tomorrow will just be for relaxation.

Also, I'm wiping my computer and reinstalling stuff from scratch. Hopefully, that will improve the performance. Things have been bogging down lately.

nothing fun this weekend.. Darcy is a shiftworker and so this weekend he'll be on nights.. hate the weekends he works :( I think i'll take the kids to town in the morning to do some grocery shopping and get them out of the house while Darcy sleeps.
 
We have my son's last soccer game tomorrow morning, then going to my uncle's house for a bonfire, and staying overnight at my IL's new house. Sunday we are going to my nephews dedication at church.
 
This is our last weekend in Colorado before we move to our next duty station (military family here) so we're trying to hit up the last things we haven't done in our time here. Tomorrow we're taking the Cog Railway to the summit of Pike's Peak (brrrrrr) and Sunday afternoon we're going to see a castle that a local man has been building for something like 40 years. That and packing and cleaning and all the other fun stuff that comes along with moving! :P
