Fun Food (mashed potato ghosts & ants on a log)

So Naomi still didn't like the peas even though they were cute LOL...but look at the fun food we made!

I had seen this recipe online for shepherds pie that was topped with little mashed potato and pea ghosties. I wanted to make it but we already had chicken in the crock pot so we just made the ghosts over stuffing and had it with the chicken.

Naomi had never tried peas. She tried them and spit them out LOL.

And today for lunch we had ants on a log. Nothing ground breaking but the kids are beside themselves (their normal staple is turkey & cheese roll ups with cut up bananas and grapes) with amusement.

Its nothing anything fun, but my son's favorite meals are when I give him summer sausage or pepperoni or turkey cubes with some cheese, some saltines and either strawberries or grapes. Easy, but he loves it and always eats it all up. I need to get one of those fun ones though to give him some variety.

Very cute! My kids (and my DH lol) aren't fans of peas either so we rarely have them. We may have to do the ants on a log though, I know my kids would love those!
