Has anyone dealt with this before? I have been eBaying off and on for years and have never had someone NOT pay after they won the auction. And now it's happened 2x in 2 weeks. I'm so mad! The first one gave me no communication whatsoever, even after several attempts to contact. So I had to file a no-pay dispute. The second one is the same deal, today is the offical one week waiting period, so I'm going to give them one final notice before I file a dispute with them.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need my scrapping money!
 
That sucks Val! I never sold anything there, just bought stuff. That's what I'm afraid of...not getting paid. :(
 
we had paid someone with good feedback and come to find out so did alot of other people--no idea how they got good feedback took FOREVER to get our money back...can relate both ways. I had someone who bought the cell phone we were selling on ebay right? they kept telling me the money order was in the mail great communication MONEY never came...even tried to convience me to mail them the phone before i got the money order. Reported them to ebay..GRRR...people like that make Ebay miserable for use sometimes...maybe it'll get better ((I have some listing i have to do today!))
 
That sucks! When I have stuff to sell, I use half.com by ebay. Usually I'm just lisitng textbooks... but no bidding and non of the kind of issues ebay has. They pay half.com and then the money is forwarded onto you.
 
We sent a guy a computer processor and he claims we sent him a different processor. I was dumb and only took photos of the outside of the box... not the actual processor. So, we had to partially refund his money... he lived out of the country so he didn't want to send it back to us for a full refund... I am pretty sure we got ripped off on that one because I didn't have PROOF.
 
I have had several instances where I got cheated on ebay. Once I paid for a book twice because it was such a small amount and the lady sent it before she received the payment supposedly. Another time a lady bought a used snowglobe from me and I had it listed as like new because I had only taken out of the box one time so you would think that would be like new right? Well she found something to complain about and then wanted me to refund her the money and for her to keep the snowglobe. I said no and she asked for a partial refund. She was ticked because she said I was rude to her and wanted to make the transaction difficult. Another time I bought some build-a-bears on ebay and the person who sent them to me washed them before sending them and didnt include the one I really wanted even though it was in the listing. They didnt want to refund any money and denied washing them even though they were wet when I got them and two of them were ripped. I just had enough with ebay and no longer use it for anything. Oh and I found a lady who was selling alot of designers kits on there as her own. I reported it several times to ebay and to the designers and last I checked she was still doing it.
 
I'm always very carefully with eBay I had 2 bad situations, specially when I've won something in a low aution and ppl refuse to send me the item.
They refund me the money, but that was not the point, because I really really wanted what I've autioned for.
And to be honest I'm not pleased on the way eBay work the disputes. Most of the time they just stand there without doing something and just keep sending you pre-made andwers that really really annoy me
 
The only time I buy on ebay is if it's from a Power Seller with 100% positive feedback. And I usually only do the "Buy it Now" price. I'm a chicken. I've bought 1 thing from a regular auction, and was happy with the whole transaction, but I admit I was scared the whole time, lol!
 
I don't use eBay anymore either. I got ripped off for $28 on a dvd of an old movie I would watch as a teenager, Ride the Wild Surf. Telling my age here. Anyway, I emailed the seller and asked him/her if it was a copy and they email back telling me, "How can there be a copy when there is no original?" So I bid on it, like a dummy. When I got it I found it to be a terrible copy of a VHS. So I reported him to eBay and then promptly reported him to the FBI for copyright infringement. Don't know whatever happend. Never heard from the FBI or eBay.
