Hey Diane!! Welcome to Sweet Shoppe Designs!!! I'm so glad to see here you and curious about digital scrapbooking!!

If you currently don't have a graphics program and don't have the funds to purchase products, there is GIMP which is a FREE graphics program and something that a lot of people use when they first start out.

Here are some other links to trials/downloads to look at:

Trial of Photoshop CC

If you like Photoshop CC, then it's a monthly fee to continue using the program.

Trial of Photoshop Elements (it's an "easier" version of CC, but you don't have all the features that you would have with Photoshop CC)

Again if you like this program, you can purchase a monthly fee to continue using the program.

I started using Paint Shop Pro, which is a really easy program to use, more affordable, however you don't have a lot of the features that you would have with Photoshop CC.

I will be looking thru all and seeing what there is to know. I did a lot of Creative memories, when they got to the digital part it wasn't something I was into, probably b/c I did everything in a book. This is a new thing for me and I will look at what you have given. I will have to do the gimp at the moment though. I just got here to be honest, lost and overwhelmed. It will take time to see what is going on. I want to try the signature things. I think the smaller the better for right now.

I have some signatures I would like to use in my replies when I'm replying in my list, Is that the same thing as what you are saying for the Gallery. I'm a bit confused. I'm not showing any work, just some things I had made with my name on them.

Well, I have 10 posts in the forum now, but I still do not see a comment field on my layouts or on anyone else's layouts. When can I show some love?

Yeah - I logged off and back on and now it works. I can leave some love. :)

To make sure I've understood, gallery layouts should be 700x700 and 250k, correct?

I've just posted a page in the gallery and the credits dont appear in the description. I saw that other people had the same problem.
what can I do ? thanks for your answer
 
I hope that someone can help me quickly -
I am trying to finish my page for Feb 2nd's 13th Birthday challenge and only just now realized that it is a retired product from Meagan's Creation - She Rocks that I used.

I can't find any mention on if the SS product needs to be current or not.

I don't know if I need to start a whole new layout to qualify. Help Please!!

As long as the designer is currently selling in the shop, it is fine
 
I was thinking why can’t I comment on images in the gallery hehe But I have read this and understand. I couldn’t make a post in the forum to introduce myself so hopefully after posting here I’ll be able to :)

The "new to our forum" post that you made will get you your access to be able to post and comment.

Welcome, welcome!! What was your former username? You said you had to start a new account and I was wondering what your previous one was.

I mean I'm kind of new - It's been 10 years since I last visited the forums! :blink: So I would love to get active again. I've still been scrappin, just posting on FB.
 
Hi! I have a question. I have been able to list credits on my layouts in the past however, on the last two I have uploaded the credits did not show up. I went to edit my layouts and I did not see the option to edit photo and add credits... Any help would be appreciated...Thanks.

It looks like your account hadn't been upgraded yet. I've done that now, so you should be able to edit your posts freely.

Hi I am new and shiny and I was hoping to comment on some of the ones that I love, but I can't see how to do that, am I being silly and missing something obvious?
 
Hi, there really is not one written in the rule book, but an average one will be okay, feel free to look around the forum for some of our members' siggy. Mine is 540x300 :)

Hello ClaireG, are you refering to leaving comments in the gallery? Since your account is new, you are going to need to make at least 5 forum comments to "unlock" the comment section in the gallery. I see you have 4 already, would you like to visit this forum section, you might find some topic that will interest you. Again, welcome to sweet shoppe :)

Hi Claire! Welcome! I think once you hit 10 comments in the forums, you should be able to leave love in the gallery. Keep posting here though if that doesn't work, and someone will get it sorted out for you. That's awesome you're going to try the Passport challenges! They are such fun!
 
Hi! I FINALLY have a signature, but I am not sure how to upload it. Do I load it to the members gallery and then add the link to the signature section in the User CP?
