I too was one of THOSE paper scrappers like Dani that said they would never travel to the dark side of digital scrapping. I had been paper scrapping for 7 years and it took me about a year before I would even try digital. I am so eating my words now. I did my first digital page about 6 months ago (sad little page it was. I didn't know about drop shadows or anyting like that.) and I was hooked. I packed up 7 years of collecting paper supplies. My husband had just turned our extra bedroom into my scrap room and it was covered from top to bottom. I still have 9 or 10 boxes full of stuff sitting in my garage. I NEED to have a sale soon. I sure wish I had back all the money sitting in those boxes.
I was an independent consultant for 3 years for the stamping and scrapping company "Close To My Heart" and so I have boxes of stuff from that also.
I was trying to find a picture to share of my old scraproom and I found this picture. This was my first Embellishment pack I made.

I had big dreams of doing this before I found digital. Now my big dream is making digital kits. Maybe one day. For now I am satisfied using all the wonderful kits that you ladies create. Thanks again for sharing with us.
I've been a paste-eater for about 10 years and digital never even dawned on me! You just do things without even thinking about it - I'd use my programs for journalling on paper and never really considered anything else.
I can honestly say that I've hung up my "paper hat" and have switched over to the digital-side! I'm never going back! LOL
you sweet shoppe designers are inspirational! wow...i cannot believe that the majority of you have no formal training, just an amazing eye for design and the drive! one day i hope to just be happy with my lo's! =)
You guys are good! I really think every designer here has great quality in all their work. One day I'd like to learn, but for now, I'll just play with all your great stuff.
