FOB or MJ - who does it better?

my son is watching MOD (Much On Demand - MuchMusic - Canadian equiv of MTV I'd say), and the new Fall Out Boy cover of Michael Jackson's Beat It just premiered. Every time I hear it that cover song on Sirius Hits One in the truck, I've been cranking it, cause I love the beat!

So ... who in your opinion has the better version?

It's ok I guess. It's not that much different though. It does have a good beat, but so did the original, you know? I just happen to like covers when they do something different. Although with Beat It, if they changed it too much they'd probably get slammed, lol. It's good though, I'll play it a few times tonight I'm sure

I think the original version is always better than the cover. It's the principle of the thing: if the original wasn't great, the second band would never have wanted to do the cover, kwim? Same with book v. movie. ALL books are better than the movie. It's just the nature of the beast.

As for the hotness quotient... *nosewrinkle* Sorry, but I can't be with or crunch on a dude with guyliner. I'd rather date a raccoon and keep all the household makeup to myself, thankyouverymuch.
