First time on the big kid playground....

...I took Meri to the big playground the other day for the first time. She LOVED the slide! Hated the swing though, absolutely screaming/crying hated it...

When my kids were smaller they'd do JUST the slide... I mean we'd end up out there for a good couple HOURS, just doing the slide! LOL

lol, then at least I'm not alone. And at least I got her to climb the steps herself so I don't have to lift her everytime to go down. Oh and she was SOOOO tired that night for bedtime!

Oh gosh, she is absolutely the cutest little sweetheart EVER (well, after mine of course, lol)! I love your pictures! I can't wait to take Ava to the park this summer (if the snow ever melts that is!!).

Too cute! When we go to the park Kyle (he's almost 2) loves the slides too! He could go up and down them for hours on end lol! He'll even go down the big rainbow slide on his tummy head first now, thanks to his big sisters and his cousin! He also loves the swings too and even tried the merry go round for a short while!

What a cutie! My daughter loves to climb the stairs and go down the slides... but to this day she still hates the swings... I just don't get it! They are so totally fun! I want to get her a swing set for the yard, but I know she won't use it! : )

Aww. My youngest loves the slide, too. My older kids were always terrified of the slides that were taller then a couple feet but my youngest...the bigger, windier the better. She was like 16 months old and my husband put her down the steepest slide at the park and it had a bump in the middle of the slide. I thought she would freak but I caught her at the bottom and she screamed, "AGAIN!" and ran around to the steps to climb back up. She's nuts. The 2nd time she flew right off the end and landed in the dirt and still wanted to do it again.
