::::FIREPROOF::::

I'm hoping to see it on Saturday! My church showed a long preview of it several weeks ago and I was really interested. I really want to catch it before it leaves the theaters because I want to support this type of movie. Sounds like a good date night!

I really really REALLY want to go see this movie with Jeff. We've had a really trying marriage and, while we're both committed to making it work, I know that we could really use some encouragment in the form of a movie like this. I *doubt* he'll go see it with me, but I'm sure it will still be marriage-changing even if I"m the only one to see it.

Liz, I'm glad you and Dennis had a good time at the movie last night. Sorry for calling you. :o

My Sunday School class went to see this...I sadly didn't get to go but DH and I both still want to see it! I need to find a sitter and just go! We have a great marriage, but no marriage is perfect so I'm all for making it better

Yes, I would like to see this, Im not married, but have a very rocky relationship with Elles dad, If he thought it was a good action, he'd go, if he knew it were a religious, "self help" movie, he'd say take a hike... :glare:

see, now I don't have this problem. I called and told P I bought movie tickets for a movie about marriage on Saturday and he said cool.

I think he knows better than to tell me no.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

He actually said "Sounds like the perfect kind of movie for an anniversary dinner...are we going to P.F. Changs after? Please?"

hahahahahaha

yes! this is why we wanted to see it in theatres. we benefitted from it and were able to support the makings of these types of movies.

don't be sorry silly! i feel loved when you call! :D

do you know what the first thing i said after the movie was over? i really really wish jeff would go see that with jenny. i'm telling you, it would change both of your lives! jeff has got to see it jenny...i'm so serious when i say you have to. if there is any way you can get him there, do!

We haven't seen the movie yet due to our babysitter (aka DH's cousin who attends college here in town, lol!) coming down with Mono. I'm hoping it's still in theatres when B's feeling better.

That said, it's already changing our lives. McFly and I have had quite the rough road through our marriage, not in couple problems per se, just life problems. Anyway, we're doing the Love Dare and it's pretty amazing the difference it's made thus far. I'm on Day 12, he's on Day 8 (he took time off for a stomach virus, lol!).

It is SO good, seriously!!!! I haven't had a chance to read through the whole thread, just popped on here for a minute, but oh my goodness, we saw it a few weeks ago and thought that it was excellent--such a great message and so rare (okay, I have never seen that message on the big screen! ).

One of my friends told me about this movie and I really want to see it....I have enjoyed reading your psots about it...now I have no doubt that I would like to see it......

Wow, this is awesome that so many of you have seen it or are anxious to see this movie! My cousin was totally offering to watch my kids so that me and my DH could go see it. She said she was expecting it to be cheesy, but she came out crying! Originally, it was only showing in one theatre in my area which was across the bay from us, but just recently they opened it real close by, so for sure I'm hoping to see it soon!

I know not everyone who watches it may be Christian or may think it's only for Christians, but regardless, I'm sure the powerful message is for everyone, whether your single or married. I've heard people, Christian or not, say so many positive things. :) And some, came out totally transformed. :D

We too are not Christian, but I have to say that I am still interesed in seeing this movie and I have just ordered "The Love Dare" from my local bookseller. I honestly believe that DH and I will come away a stronger couple, regardless of our beliefs. The messages are still there to be heard if we choose to listen.

Thanks for posting this Lizzy :)

yw! i think that totally whether your a christian or not the values and the lessons in love and marriage are universal! hope you enjoy the movie!! :)
