Finally got a Mac, but now I feel lost!

That's a big change! From all the positive comments I've heard, I'm sure you'll love it once you get past the learning curve.
 
I'm a newbie Mac girl too!!!!
I let Best Buy move all my files from 3 smaller EHDs to two BIG EHDs. Then I rearranged and played with everything.
One of the big things I was missing was folder previews, but searching this forum, I found a way to make them! The only other thing I am really missing is my numeric keyboard.... especially when I pay bills or shop and need to enter my CC number...lol
It is so fast!! I am loving it.

yay, we are huge mac people in my house, and we absolutely love them.

Stacy, I also felt lost without my numeric keyboard so I keep reusing an older one from an older mac ;)
 
I have been a mac girl for several years now. With the last major update of PScc I have a new macbook pro ... smaller screen and no numeric keypad ... I have an old mac keyboard connected to it and a second screen ...
It's fun Photoshopping with such a big screen...
I hope you get everything sorted out soon...
 
Fun to have a new toy! I've always used PCs though, so I can't help one bit. Looks like you're figuring it out already though, so that's good! :)
 
Thanks everyone! So far so good. I'm already dreaming of upgrading. LOL! I went with a MacBook Air. It's perfect for now, I rarely sit at a desk to scrap anymore, but maybe I'll grade the other PC's in the house.

Thankfully I have used Macs before in college, but it's been a bit.
