FINALLY about to go get my hubby!

After 2 delays over 4 days he's finally in Atlanta and will be flying into Jackson in a few hours! I am so excited but man this day is just dragging by! :p

Usually your time starts once they get home. So for 2 weeks of leave, they're usually gone anywhere from 3 weeks to a month from where they're deployed with all the travel time and delays getting to and from their location. That's how it worked with Adam anyway.
 
So excited for you Nikki! Have a great time with your family all together!
 
I hope you all have a really wonderful time being together again. I used to get nervous right before hubby came home. Unjustified, but I'd feel that way anyway.
 
Thank you all...it is so good to have him home! I picked him up at the airport Monday afternoon..we spent the night in Jackson to have some time together before driving home Tuesday morning to the kids. They were SO excited. Here's some pics I got with my phone...(sorry if you saw these on facebook already)
Ella started talking to him before we even got her out of my parent's car and hasn't stopped yet lol. In this photo she was saying "Daddy! I have missed you SO much"

But it was Avery that got my waterworks going..he was so excited to see his Daddy and just overcome with emotion..he said, "Don't worry Daddy..these are happy tears" idie!

Brian's sleeping right now..he's having a hard time getting back on our schedule plus jet lag. Hopefully it won't take him too many days to adjust.

Such sweet photos, thanks for sharing them, Nikki! And please tell your husband THANK YOU for serving our country. For sacrificing time with his children and wife for me & my family. I know it is a huge sacrifice, one that you make also. So, thanks. :hugs:
 
Soooo happy you guys are back together again!!! Seriously every time I see these pictures I cry. Avery's especially gets me!! :wub: He is such a sweetheart!!
