Feeling like dying

I've been sick since Thursday, stuffy nose, sore throat and as the days go on if feels like my sinuses are going to explode. Is there anything any of you ladies know of I can take while breastfeeding? My eyes won't stop watering. Oh, its just driving me crazy. :(
 
Sorry you're so sick, Vanessa. I'm also BFing and have been sick, so I know how frustrating it is to not be able to take much and then have to feel miserable because of it. :thumbdown:

For your sinuses, try some saline nasal spray. It's 100% safe and you can use it as much as you want. I have lots of sinus problems, and I swear by that stuff!

I hated getting sick while BF. I would also try some steam for your sinus...a super hot shower or humidifier or something. That helped me.

I hope you feel better real soon!
 
I use a neti pot for my sinuses. My doc said I could use Zicam when I was BFing, they have a cough spray and nasal swaps & sprays. They didn't cure my symptoms but they lessened them.

Oh sweety I have been in your shoes so many times. Breastfeeding and being sick can def be the worst. I second the nasal spray and also I used a vick vaporizer at night in my room. I hope you feel better soon love!
 
Thanks girls. I tried the Neti Pot, I'm so stuffed up most of the time it won't drain at all or it just drips. I think I'm going to bed.
