Feeling blue

I went out of town yesterday to visit my uncle in the hospital. He went in for a procedure to remove a spot from his lung. Unfortunately when they got in there they found a bunch of cancer, and it had spread to lymph nodes. They removed what the could, but he ended up with an infection and his lungs aren't working - so they are only giving him 24-48 hours to live.

Its really weighing heavily on me. Life is really so short and can change in the blink of an eye.

Thanks everyone! I've talked a lot about it with my husband today - it has really made me want to make sure I don't get bogged down by the little things that seem so major (dirty house, incessant bills) and enjoy that I am surrounded by family I love and making sure they know how much I love them.
