How did it get to be FEB already?!

How did you do on your Goals (scrap or other) in JAN? Are there things you want to change for FEB?

Either way, pat yourself on the back for making it through all 619 days of JAN- lol!! :D
Share a win! We would love to celebrate with you!

I'm back to working out 90 minutes a day again!!! That's my one big goal for 2026 and I'm on track!!!! The food is delicious here in Louisiana...king cake....beignets....gumbo..... I eat it all so I need to work out! LOL

I wanted to finish scrapping one of my vacations last year so that I could get a Shutterfly book ordered. My 2024 Cape Cod trip, 2025 South Dakota and 2025 Maine/New Brunswick/Nova Scotia/Prince Edward Island trips ended up being 106 pages. I've got it done now just have to upload to Shutterfly and wait for a sale.

Next up is to do my 2024 Document Your December, 2025 October Daily, 2025 Document Your December and my 2025 Vermont trip. Hope to have 2024 DYD and 2025 Oct Daily done in February.

I don't have goals... I have to-do lists. Is that weird?

I've never been a "goals" person, but I'm always busy and usually am able to get done what I set out to do, you know? Is that the same thing?

January was insane for me behind the scenes getting ready for our birthday and the little changes around the site, but Check! Check! Check! was able to get it all done! Go me! *pats on the back*

I have check lists and like to stay about a year behind on my scrapping, but now I have so much of the last quarter of 2024 to finish. That quarter has the most photos. I was rocking along until I hurt my back last week. Exercise is off the rails and also my motivation. I'm allowing myself February to take it easy, and hopefully I'll be back full swing in March.

Things are moving slowwwwwwly for me this January. With all the weather and the kids home so much I’ve had to cancel a lot of plans like books & banter and coffee crew. I’ve enjoyed having my kids home so much though, so it’s a good trade-off.

I am really trying to embrace the cyclic nature of the seasons. During the summer we fill our calendars with local activities, play dates, and travel; the fall for getting back into the swing of our school schedule; the spring is for getting back out into nature and sometimes sports, and winter is for rest. I don’t like the cold and I’m much more at ease when I can hibernate a bit. So instead of shaming myself, I’m trying to lean in without feeling like I’ve lost all momentum.

So yeah, I guess all that to say I don’t really have any major goals right now except to get through this winter in good health and spirits.

I did launch a rather unorthodox project with some of my local Mom friends in November though, so big things are on the horizon. Our first meeting was all about letting go of 2025, and setting intentions for 2026. We had a vision board workshop a few weeks ago to codify our word of the year and make it into a visual reminder to keep us on track for 2026. The next step is to solidify quarterly and create plans to execute them, while working in ways to keep ourselves accountable to one another to maintain motivation.

It’s been an awesome experience so far, but I’m a little behind on my goal setting… and trying to give myself grace for it!

As far as scrapping goes, I always bite off more than I can chew and so I, unsurprisingly, have left several larger projects dangling. But I’m still scrapping more consistently than I have in years, just kind of going where to wind takes me- scrapping on vibes as I like to say… so I’m taking that as a win.

I bet all the food is so good! 90 min is a big task- WTG!!

Nice job! I can't wait to see your printed books!

Sounds like that works for you! I have both- lol!
Loving the changes and celebrations at SSD!

I hope the extra rest helps. Take care!

This sounds amazing- vision board workshop!!
I would love to host a group of friends for a creative outlet- scrapbook, succulent arranging, photo archiving, etc.

Dooooo it!! We had so much fun. I’ve been wanting to do it for years and finally got around to it this year.

Like Robin, I have 'to do' lists rather than goals and they kinda stay in my head rather than be committed to paper :D. However, I had a nice 6 week break over Christmas and January and I did accomplish a fair bit which I'm happy about. My house decluttering is progressing well and I've scrapped all but two of the pages for my 2025 family album (out of ~100) - prior to Christmas I'd scrapped zero of them.

I'm back at work now so probably nothing else productive will get done until next Christmas :(

February is the new January, right? I got so derailed last month on ALL fronts--my father-in-law passed away unexpectedly in early January, and that changed everything. And then we had allllll the weather. So I'm starting again.
It's hard for me to be motivated when it's winter, anyway. Like Karli, I just want to hibernate.

I agree that January was the longest month - ever!!

I too, have to-do lists instead of goals. My newest "to-do" is to use my Happy Planner more faithfully and to decorate it each week.

I'm behind on scrapping, I've sort of lost my mojo - and getting caught up is on the to-do list too!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Ally. (((HUGS)))

I gave myself January as a time to rest a bit. I'm just now getting some inspiration for the pages I haven't made for my December album yet but I have 3 different Hanukkah events so... there's only so much inspiration available. I haven't even touched my annual strawberry picking photos yet but I'll get there when I'm ready. I have a few other things coming up that I know I need to scrap for kiddo's album and my film scans should be arriving over the next few days (color tomorrow, slide on Friday, and black & white on Monday).

I did read 32 books in January (which surprised me, despite how many times I had to drag myself to the library to pick up holds) and just completed one of my big projects for the month: getting a mobility device for my son. Now to maybe get his IEP finished, pretty please?

My January was absolutely insane so I'm just now starting to think about goals. I really don't do goals per se but I probably should because maybe I'd be better at accomplishing them!

So I guess I'm gonna state one right here and now. Lol... One of the things I'd really like to get done this year is my hybrid Disney album. I started it years ago and it's 75% of the way done but it's been so long that I've picked it up that I forgot how my brain was thinking about this particular process! It takes awhile for me to get back into the groove after putting something down so I've pretty much just avoided it instead.

But now I've got a many more Disney/Universal trips since that one and they're all starting to blur together. (First World Problems I know!) Apart from that, I think most of my scrapping goals would be more behind the scenes related. I got a new EHD like 3 months ago and still haven't opened the box. I have photos on my phone from last year that I haven't backed up! (gasp!) My desktop is so overloaded my computer is slowing to a crawl. I should really get on that! Lol..

Is it weird that January went by fast for me? I guess it seemed long, but our January calendar was just bonkers. I think we had ONE day that I had nothing on my calendar (but my daughter worked, so NOT A SINGLE day empty on the family calendar!) No time to think about goals! lol

I did do a lot of scrapping, so that's always good. I try to do 'old' pics for MOC so I was successful in that aspect. I also started a new job so that's been fun & exciting & a little stressful, but now I'm starting to feel settled & that's so nice.

February:
-I'm looking forward to a few more 'nothing' days and a mini vacation.
-I want to work on the journal I am doing for my daughter graduating, so I'm trying to get that done asap.
-I'm also doing a daily project through february 14th (I put hearts on their doors with what I love about them each day- so 14 things I love about them!)

We lived in New Orleans for two years after we were first married, and Joel told me once, "We will never again eat as well as we do here." 25 years later, it's still true!

I am at a zero on all of my goals except for the goal of getting into ketosis. : ) It hasn't changed my life the way I hoped it would, but I do like the self control it forces me to have.

These are sound so great! I can't wait to see your finished projects.

How many Disney trips will fit in the book?
I back of monthly (one of my goals) and have been doing pretty well with that.

I like each of my trips to be its own separate album and each trip is a different style and therefore in it's own album (either "looseleaf" or printed in a bound book. That's how I differentiate the trips in my brain, like one was a pocket style album, another is Cindy's page fillers, a different one is Anna Aspnes templates with masks, another is hybrid etc. I guess I like to make things harder on myself than they need to be! Lol!

I need to scrap, I did get the rest of 2025 laid out, organized and in templates, but I just need to sit down and do it.

But otherwise, January has been incredibly lazy! It's been so cold here and it's just killing all my energy and motivation.

I have some senior projects I need to start working on, our middle son graduates in May. Thankfully, I did keep up with his personal scrapbooks, so I'm only a couple months behind, not like when our daughter graduated and I was scrambling.
