This is a spin-off of Jenn's "Fave Christmas Song" thread.

What is your favorite Christmas movie?

My mom is obsessed with Christmas movies, so I grew up watching SO many different ones. But, I think my fave is still White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kay. Here are my top 5...

White Christmas
A Christmas Story ("you'll shoot your eye out")
Miracle on 34th Street (the original)
Scrooge (the 1938 version)
It's a Wonderful Life

Christmas Vacation
Elf
Miracle on 34th street (newer version)

and some people consider these Christmas, and some people dont'....but

Family Man
Little Women

HANDS DOWN ~ A Christmas Story - You'll shoot your eye out!!!!!
Elf -
Charlie Brown Christmas
Miracle on 34th street - Classic
and any of the cheesy clay movies - Frosty the snowman - Rudolph the Red Nose Raindeer

I love Christmas Vacation too... hilarious... and Elf is becoming a fave.

We have the whole "TV Classics" collection with Rudolph, Frosty, Santa Claus is Coming to Town & Little Drummer Boy. The girls love those movies too. I remember when I was a kit and they'd come on TV... we'd make a big deal out of it. Mom would make popcorn and we'd hunker down for the evening. So fun.

A Christmas Story
Little Women
Miracle on 34th Street (the original)

the Christmas cartoon classics...I still watch em LOL
Grinch (the Grinch got a wonderful, awful idea----love that grin he gets)
Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey
Charlie Brown Christmas
Night Before Christmas
Mickey's Christmas Carol
and just about all of the others LOL

Elf
A Christmas Story
Christmas Vacation
Polar Express
The Santa Clause movies
and of course the Christmas cartoon classics

Christmas Vacation (it just never gets old and always funny)
Elf
A Christmas Story
Home Alone
All the animated clay oldies

I think my favorite would have to be the cartoon version of "How the grinch stole Christmas", I have fond memories of watching it with my grandpa when I was a little girl.

Christmas Vacation is my all-time fave x-mas movie. But I also LOVE Elf and The Santa Clause (only the first one).

I've never seen Its a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street, or even the entire Christmas Story. (((ducking and hiding)))

Oh I love pretty much all Chrismtas movies too LOL!

My favorites are

A Christmas Story
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (cartoon version)
Elf
The Santa Clause
Scrooged
A Miracle on 34th Street (the b&w version with Natalie Woods)
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Christmas Vacation
The Polar Express

Elf is cute
Love Charlie Brown
It's a Wonderful Life (probably because I have a relative in it.)
Polar Express

My favorite Christmas movies is The Bells of Saint Mary's. I know, not really a Christmas movie. But, when I was growing up, our local TV station used to play it every Christmas Eve. We'd be up at my grandparent's house and my Grandma would have it on - she loved Bing Crosby. So, to me, it always means Christmas. My other (more traditional) favs:

The Bishop's Wife (original with Cary Grant)
Polar Express
Little Women
It's a Wonderful Life

Polar Express
Elf
Mickey's Christmas Carol
Rudolf, the Red Nosed Reindeer
Scrooge (1970 version)
A Christmas Story
