Fatal error :(

this is what I get when I try to check out!

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 264443 bytes) in /home/robincar/public_html/sweetshoppe/include/func/func.mail.php on line 699
 
I'm just trying to check out :( (it's a large order but I don't understand how that could have anything to do with it?)
 
lena i keep getting error messages too (since last night) i'm hoping it will resolve itself because i'm not thru shopping :)
 
I breezed thru check out - maybe because your orders are bigger??? today was the most I've spent in one sitting (and I'm not done hehehe....) but it was only $25
 
I'm not 100% sure, but remember that coupons can't be used today. So, if you're trying to use a coupon for anything that might have something to do with the error. :)
 
Hmmmmm... well I've got nothing then. LOL!

I *thought* gift certificates were set up the same way as coupons in xcart, but I'll admit that I don't really know anything about xcart at all. Do you not enter the gc in the "coupon code" box? (Obviously I haven't checked out in the new store yet. LOL!)
 
LOL, no you don't enter it into the couponbox. You select GC as your method of payment and then it asks you for the GC code, which I used. It applied the GC too! Then I had to go back and select a second payment method, and then it never takes me to Paypal for the other $12, it just gives me that fatal error message (complete with a generic Xcart colored screen...you know that orange screen?). I am fairly certain my order is just TOO large, because Tab checked out just fine with her order. I need to do two orders I guess, but the GC has already been "redeemed" now, so I'm not sure what to do :( I've PMed Robin and am just waiting since it's still early in the morning...I know it will get sorted out and I'm being patient :)
 
Well what do ya know? I learned something today. LOL! Thanks Lena! :D :D :D

Hope you get it straightened out soon. That is one MASSIVE order!!
 
It's the large order - split your orders up if you're making extremely large purchases. Apparently there are memory restrictions in XCart so if you purchase a lot of items it has issues processing the transaction.
