Fashion advice needed!!!!

It's been a long time since I've dressed up ladies. :blink:

I'm going to a nice-ish holiday party tonight. I got this king of sleeveless tunic top. Its green with a jeweled neckline (real cute) and it is scrunchy at the bottom so it's "shaped" rather than just hanging there.

Do I wear it with a slim black skirt and boots. Or black pants and heels?

I'm short, real short....so I cant do that whole flat shoe thing. Or items that arent fitted. it just looks wrong.

actually i just changed the outfit entirely. cropped fitted jacket with a red camisole underneath...with the black pants and heels. the other top might not look so good after dinner and drinks.
