Did you see Simon's face?

I really don't care for her... ;)
 
Ha-ha! My 9-year-old son was watching and he made the comment to me "Does she even sing? All of the other people (meaning the back-ups) are singing more than her!" I think I have to agree to with him...she seemed to scream more than sing. But she did have a lot of energy and put on an entertaining performance.
 
Energy is one thing but I thought the whole performance was scary!! I loved the look on Simone's face....I pretty sure I had the same one.....LOL!!

I remember cracking up so hard at Simon's face. It was the best part of the night besides David's getting through to the finals.
Fantasia was just awful.

I LOVE Fantasia's energy and thought her perfmornace (dancing ect.) was great! I'm not a big fan of her voice though, some songs she has been able to pull off and sounds beautiful but that song wasn't one of them. Her energy really was amazing last night though...I was exhausted by the end of it. LOL
 
HA! I actually liked it and thought she had improved a lot over her time on the show. I don't know that I'd go buy her cd or anything, but I definitely enjoyed watching her last night.

It's funny I told my DH the same thing..."I think my face looked like Simon's". It was a crazy and well...just a Fantasia-type performance. Kudos to her for her success.
 
I have never been a fan either! Never. I only watched about half the performance. I can appreciate her energy but not loving her "singing"!

She has great energy but the Dennis Rodman comment above had me LMAO!!! I didn't watch Idol the year she was in it so I don't know what she's about. But I just didn't hear her "sing" which is what Idol is supposed to be about. To each their own though... :)
 
I didn't watch Idol last night (they just drag the results shows out WAAAAAAAAAAAY too much, drives me nuts), but DH called me in and rewound for a few seconds Fantasia's performance and then Simon's face...he thought it was hilarious. :D
 
I think I'd like the radio version of the song..Loved the beat and tone to it. I can't handle that screechy squealing though she was doing!
 
To me it was very James Brown-ish. A lot of hype and energy, but not a lot of tune. Disapponting considering how much I liked her when she was competing on Idol. The song makes me think she was trying to go the total opposite direction of the Broadway work she's been doing...
 
If you listen to the song on iTunes, like the actual song...it's actually really good. But her performance last night wasn't much like the song, lol...

I looked up her CD and liked a few of the songs...I didn't even know she had a CD out, lol...
 
I skipped through her performance. The season she won I quit watching part way through because I didn't like any of the contestants left. All I remember is her ending every song with "yeah, yeah, yeah." :D
