Fan Blinkies

OK, I have tried this like 4 times and I just can't seem to get it right for whatever reason. I follow the directions I get from Blogger and Photobucket and such bit it just does not seem to work, any suggestions would be great. I really want to get all the fabulous designer fan blinkies under my siggie ASAP.

Another question I have is this: I was offered a spot on a CT from another site, can I post a blinkie for that too?

go to user cp, edit signature and plug in your code

(w/out the space)
you can show your other blinkes (I just don't link mine)

The way I do Photobucket is:
Save blinkie to my harddrive.
Upload blinkie to photobucket
Copy the html code from the Direct Link Box
Go into Edit Signature
Choose the icon with the pic and paste the code into it.

--OR--

The easier way to put a blinkie in your sig is to:
Right click on the blinkie
Copy the html address from the image location
Paste it into the box when you select the Image icon

I do this for DST but I'm not sure if Sweet Shoppe allows hot linking (I think that's what it's called)

I use Photobucket for mine.

The way I do Photobucket is:

Go into Edit Signature
Choose the icon with the pic and paste the code into it.

Hot linking is often forbidden on sites, so that's the method I use. I still have to copy the cod from photobucket though, even if it says "copied" when you click in the box, otherwise nothing happens when I ctrl+v to paste! LOL

I use Imageshack... http://www.imageshack.us/

You do not need to have an acct. Just upload. Very simple. Ater you upload your image you'll get a whole list of different links to use. Pick the bottom one that says something like 'direct URL'. Copy that, then paste it into your siggy using your [ img ] tags.
