Help, i just fell down a couple stairs outside and fell onto the concrete, I am only a little over 6 weeks along, I didn't fall on my stomach, I held it with my arm my other arm hit the ground and so did my leg. No spotting I don't see the dr until aug 5, anyone else have this happen.

I fell down an entire flight of stairs with Zak and had a perfect pregnancy...I was about 12 weeks along when I slipped on a grocery sack that my friend had left at the landing...I called my OB and they brought me in to do a sonogram only because I was freaked out...
Maybe you could call the office and see what they say.

I hope everything is ok!

{{HUGS}} Glad you are okay. I fell when I was much further along...probably about 8 months or something. Fell down a couple of steps when the UPS man rang our bell. Luckily I shifted my weight back so basically my bum sled down those several steps. I scared my UPS man for sure lol. I wasn't too scared b/c it was only my bum...and at that point I was about to go in for another appt...was seeing the doc every 1 or 2 weeks at that point.

I think you'll be ok :)

Oh big hugs sweety, how scary for you! You could always call the doc to be safe but I thikn I have read that in that stage of pregnancy there is less risk in a fall because the baby is so teeny tiny and its cushioned in there pretty well!! Sending thoughts your way honey!

Glad you are ok. If you are concerned with it, you can call the dr and just let them know and see what they say. I had a friend fall down her front stairs and when she called the dr, they told her as long as she wasn't having any cramping or pain, she would be fine and she was.

lol karen for some reason I was just chuckling picturing you sliding out at the ups man... Not funny lol

I would give your OB a ring if you are worried.. Those babies are super padded & protected in there though so I bet you're just fine ;)

(hugs) I bet that was scary for you. But like the others have said, the baby is pretty well cushioned.

congrats on being preggers!

You're probably fine, but definitely give your dr. a call. I fell once during my first pregnancy, and my OB just told me to put my feet up and count baby movements (I was further along than you are).

call me the preggo klutz - I fell down stairs each and every time I was pregnant, and probably on a monthly basis!!

If you are worried at all, I would put in a call to your doctor. And make sure to mention it at your next regular appointment if you don't call right away.

I totally wiped out snowboarding when I was 8 weeks along (...my Dr did tell me not to keep boarding)... ack. Completely splattered myself after caching an edge. I ran to the office, had an internal ultrasound, and all was fine. The staff had a chuckle at my expense and let me know that the little guffer was perfectly cusioned and well anchored in there. Needless to say, I stopped boarding after that.
That being said, if you can't get any peace of mind, go and get checked out.

It's amazing how well-equiped our bodies are to handle things like that. I wouldn't worry too much. I think you would be able to tell if something was wrong. But, like everyone has said, give your OB a call if it makes you feel better.

I fell down the bottom flight of our stairs the very night I found out about this baby...My butt took the brunt of it and since I was SO early I didn't think too much about it. Baby is fine now so I guess it didn't hurt any lol...I'd say since you're still so early and that baby is just a tiny little bean right now cushioned way way in there it's probably just fine, but if you're worried give your doc a call.

I don't remember how far along I was but I slipped a couple of steps down a flight of stairs once, landed on my butt. As long as I felt the baby moving during the usual time I figured I was OK. Hope you're OK too, but if you feel more comfortable, def check with your doctor!

I fell during mine and did spot and the pregnancy went fine. If you are that concerned, you should call your doctor.

I'm sure you are just fine, especially since the baby is soooo teeny tiny right now and is has PLENTY of cushion! I fell forward down some stairs when I was 8 months along and almost hit my belly... baby ended up being just fine! It was very scary, but everything was ok.

Unfortunately, pregnancy makes you more clumsy, so just be careful. :)

I had a bad fall during my last pregnancy. I feel off our porch down a couple of steps and landed pretty much on my arm like you....trying to guard my stomach. I was six or seven months pregnant. I was hysterical. I wasn't hurting or anything but just scared. All was fine and the doc said it would take a pretty harsh blow to the stomach to make anything happen to that little one. I'd say you are fine. Of course if your super worried, I always say, call the doc! Hugs hun!

I busted my booty quite a few times. One pretty badly at 5 months, but at least I stayed on my butt the entire time, my tummy wasn't hit or anything like that. Everything was fine, except me LOL I was a total klutz when preggers.

I bet you're just fine, but if it's bothering you then call you doctor. Maybe that will give you some peace of mind.

I can't believe how many of us have fallen down during pregnancy!!!! I would imagine your baby is extra protected right now since it's so so tiny and you're probably okay.

I feel down when I was about 8 months along at a store. I slipped on WATER that was on the ground... in the fabric section of all places. Yeah, scared me to death. I wasn't worried about the baby because I fell on my bum, but falling is no fun! They made me sign all these forms about it happening in case something bad did come of it.

I fell down the stairs with Abby and with JJ.. actually broke my tailbone w/ JJ. Call your dr to be sure, but I'm sure that baby is fine hon!!!

fell udring my pregnancy and was in a car accident(very minor but still was quite sore for a few days afterwards) and the baby was fine. They are cushioned and would take quite a blow to actually harm the baby. I think youll be fine but if worried they can probably get you in before your scheduled appt
