FACEBOOK

I just created a profile too, mainly to share photos with family members who are far away. I have to admit I don't "get" the point of it all and I am having a hard expanding past my family because I don't want anyone and everyone viewing my photos. My siblings keep saying "but you post your scrapbook pages online", but for some reason this feels odd or weird and different than posting my scrapbook pages. Does someone want to ease my mind or enlighten me? I tend to be a more private person, so I am struggling a little.
 
You can change the settings on your Facebook albums to only be viewable to your friends. Then only add people to your friends who you don't mind seeing your photos. :)
 
I actually just started a Facebook account a few weeks ago, after using Myspace for years (it's how the BF and I met, actually, 3 years ago this month!). I really like that's its all about actual people you know, and really just networking. Unlike Crackspace, which is a lot of crazy people and fake accounts and such. The main reason I started my account is to keep in touch with my all my cousins in Norway (dad's half of the family is over there), since Facebook is much more international. :) Feel free to add me, here!

Isn't it so weird when you FB someone from here/a msg board and they have, like, a... FACE?! Instead of a cute lil' avie/cartoon/doodle-y thingymajig?! *lol*

I'm confused by this whole facebook thing. When I click someone's profile thing, like Colleen's link above, it just shows this white page with tiny pics. I must be missing all the "fun" stuff about this. Is is like a blog thing or what? I'm confused!

You might have to be logged in to the page.

It's like a super profile page kinda thing. You can send ppl things, and poke ppl.

I only got a new one for the flair :p
 
Ok fellow Facebookers, is it flair is in "Office Space" flair? Because I needs me some if thats the case!! :D
