Thank you Sara and hello girls
I feel really sad that, since I joined Sweet Shoppe last January, this is my first post here. Eva had tried to encourage me to really take up digital scrapbooking as a hobby but I always said I was busy and would try harder to get involved "next month".
Eva and I became friends long before she found Digital Scrapbooking, back when she wrote the most amazing tutorials for the Incredimail (letter creating community). She was such an inspiration and had such a wicked sense of humour. During her time in the navy she had spent time stationed in Scotland and we often spoke of her time over here.
I remember her going to Washington on vacation in 2005, with Ken and the kids, when she came back she started talking about scrapbooking. It seemed days later she was totally hooked, if she couldnt find the papers or elements she needed, she created them. Ive still got her very first kits and Ive still got layouts she made for me - I will always treasure them.
Thank you so much Sara for passing on and sharing Eva's obit from Ken. Ive shared the sad news with old friends in the Incredimail community and, they too, are still in shock.
It's time for me to really take up the hobby, sorry for rambling on!
