End of the School Year Pictures

Its Nick's last day of kindergarten this week and I was trying to think of good pictures to take to repeat in future years. For the first day, I took a picture in front of our front door and in front of the school. Do you guys have any fun ideas for the end of the school year? Anything you did?

I've seen one where on the last day of school, you take a picture of them holding a snapshot of themselves on the first day of that school year.

I've also seen buying a large size shirt and taking a picture of them wearing it every year on the last day of school... The difference in fit between kindergarten and senior year in high school would be a neat to watch through the years.

what about just a cute photo with a chalkboard/date/last day of school but also eventually a collage ofevery year asking him what he wants to be when he grows up (kinda like this kindergarten class) kind of neat to see how different his reply is as he gets older

When I was growing up, we had this tree that was planted around the year we moved in and it was cool to see the tree grow in relationship to me every year...

I've been doing a picture in front of the Elementary school sign every year first day and last. I can't wait to compare the first day of K with the last day of 5th grade for my youngest next week!

If I was starting over with a Kindergartener I'd pick something like the shirt or what they want to be when they grow up to carry on through Middle and High School. For my middle schooler I'm lucky to get 2 pics on the first day of school each year let alone a picture on the last day of school.
