We are going to see Elmo’s Super Heroes...Sesame Street Live on Saturday! I am so excited...is it wrong for a 31 year old to be excited about Sesame Street??? Anyway, our little one is going to flip! She loves Elmo to pieces and all the other characters too. I even bought her a special dress to wear (red, white, and blue) in case there are photo ops with any of the characters. Not that I would ever scrap those photos:w00t:

Has anyone around here seen the show yet?

We're past the Elmo stage here, but I know what you mean because when Thomas the Tank Engine came to our area we FLIPPED OUT. Honestly, we were more excited then my ds (who was 3 at the time). I totally get ya, lol!

Yeah, years ago we went to Go, Diego, Go Live and to another show that had the most popular Playhouse Disney characters at the time (Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse). The kids were excited, but we were even more excited to take them. (And given how rarely I get to do any kind of adult equivalent, I'd better enjoy the kids' shows!)

haha... yeah, Jake usually doesn't get that excited about shows... a few weeks back, we went to see Veggie Tails... I was way more excited than he was! Of course now it has been non-stop Veggie Tail watching and CD listening in the house... :D

We took kiddo when he was 2 to see Elmo live. Didn't think he got much out of it since he was more interested in the snow cone than what was going on stage... yet when he was 4, we were walking by the arena and he turns to Daddy and says, "Can we go see Elmo?" We were floored that he remembered anything about that... ;)

We love Veggie Tales too! I wish their show would come to our area...we would be there if at all possible. Bob and Larry were D'D's first ever DVD and we love the lessons they teach. They have a new one coming out soon the Penniless Princess that sounds good. Those folks are so creative. She is also huge into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse right now. In fact that is what the theme of her birthday party is going to be.

Oh have fun.

And take pictures and scrap even if you can't get close to characters. It is still an event you want to remember.
