That top one is usually called wreath in a kit. Kristin has some leaves wreath in a few of her kits.

The bottom one is a flower border *I think*, which is not very often had in a kit.

so there's no name for that type of drawn vine/flower thing? they're so nice in the style of page i like to do i'be been trawling for more lol

Most of them are usually just doodle borders or trims or long paper trims, if I am not mistaken. However, it is just me on the top of my head. I could've forgotten some things, so I hope other people help out too. :)

No one name, unfortunately. I agree about the straight version usually being listed as a border. The circular kind I've seen listed as "frame" and "doodle." "Wreath" makes sense, but I don't know if it's the most common name.

I don't think there is a universal name for that type of element - though I could certainly be wrong. Maybe a designer or two will weigh in. That one is a wreath because of the shape, but not because of the type.

Misty has one of those elements on our collab and she named it as mcato-awesometogether-floralvine, so I think she probably calls it "floral vine". :) I know/think some also would call it "trim". I hope that helps.

Oh! And the other one is called wreath. :)

Alice (Red Ivy) has lots of doodle-y flowers & bits in her kits. I think this is more of a style thing. Brook & Jennifer (Simple Pleasure) are also doodle-y and would be more likely to have a kit with this type of illustration in it.

Hey that's my page and my kiddo lol :D

No "formal name" for those elements. That particular one is just called "wreath". I think it just depends on the designer.

Thanks for your help everyone - i guess it doesn't matter that they don't have a name, it would be cool for searching though.

Checking out some of the more "doodly" designers now

I know I've seen some called "wreath" before. I searched my SSD stash and found some in these kits. Some are a little different style:
