Elf on the Shelf -- good price?

For those who didn't get an Elf on the Shelf last year but were thinking about it for this year. I noticed that the Elf on the Shelf is in the deals section of Amazon today. I'm not sure if that is a good price or not. I did check on the Pop In Kins Elf (that is the one we have) and it is cheaper than what I paid last year. Guess it pays to purchase off season. And if you purchase now, you'll be ready in Nov/Dec. Hope this helps someone.

I think that is a good price, I paid $29.99 for mine at Hallmark.

thanks for the note that it is on sale! i want to get one for this year too...I tried to find one locally but off-season there are none. I even asked them to check the back room stock!
