DH and I have been wanting to go see my sister, her hubby and little girl down in the Dominican Republic for a couple of years, but finances were never good enough for us to go. This year we buckled down and said WE ARE GOING, lol. So we've been making arrangements, but it hasn't really hit me that we are actually going, you know?
Until today. My sister was in Las Terrenas looking for a hotel, and found this one:

It is so pretty! And its such a good price ($150 US including taxes per night for 6 of us - that breaks down to $50/night per couple). We are staying there a week, and spending a couple days at Sasoa and a couple days down in Santiago (where they live).
My sister is reserving the suite tomorrow, and the tickets will be booked within the next couple of days - we are going for the X-mas break. I am really starting to freak out with excitement now!!!
