She is a family friend who used to do weddings. She always said she would do ours. Awesome! She is a very close friend of my parents. Some dramaama erupted earlier last month with some things that she did and said, and my parents were really hurt. Hurt to the point that they aren't sure if they wish to remain friends with her. My mom said that if we really wanted her, she would make it work, but I didn't want to force my mom to have a relationship with someone if she didn't want to. So we found someone else, who I'm super excited about :) Roy from Black Dog Photography.

I know right!! I'm SO SO SO excited. He was really easy to talk to over the phone, answered all my questions (and was impressed with some of the ones I asked, thanks to the ladies who gave me input on that, lol!) and worked with me to set up a custom package so I would get what I wanted without any extra annoying stuff (like a photo album of the proofs, I don't need that taking up space in my house, lol!). I have ideas of photos I want to take and I know he'll be accommodating, but also do his own thing and give us what we want. :thumbup: He's a lil pricey, but fits my style perfectly so it was worth it :)
