Last night was bad... I'm sorry to everyone who had the unfortunate luck of being trapped in a conversation with me bwahaha.. but omgosh.. today isn't going much better... LOL

My baby brother... (ok he just turned 23, but he's still MY baby brother) has his first real serious girlfriend.. I just found out last night.. ILY's have already been exchanged and what not. He's been super busy trying to finish up school (he's in boston.. I'm seriously so proud of him), so we haven't really been chatting for a while-- plus you know, the last 6 months my life kinda got flipped upside down and what not :D .. so anyway.. he was all like yeh sorry I didn't tell you.. you need to meet her etc Gosh...

My brother is in love and all that...

I can totally relate. My baby brother - also 23 - is coming to visit us this week and bringing his girlfriend along. :unsure: I'm so happy for him and can't wait to meet her.
 
lol why can't I keep him in a bubble? lol.. It's so weird. I added her on my facebook.. and now I d unno what I am supposed to do LOL am I allowed to say "Hi, just checkin to make sure you're not a skank and what not" :D
 
My brother is 21 with a serious girlfriend I LOVE her but its weird! You have every right to be emotional!
 
geesh... she has pics of them together on her facebook.. they are so stankin cute together.. My brother is a loser LOL...How could he not tell me :D :D

I am so glad I never had any younger siblings because I'd be the same way, if not worse.

I think you should mess with his girlfriend and say "hi, I'm his VERY protective sister, I just wanted to introduce myself and see if he has had the conversation with you about what has happened with his other girlfriends that have done him wrong?"

I think that's a good way to set the tone LOL
 
My sister, who is 23, got her first 'big gurl' job this year as a teacher, is engaged to be married, and put in an offer on a house with her fiance.

Talk abt mindfreak. I feel your pain, La.

I know what you mean La! My brother is turning 24 in a couple days (ummm, 5 I guess), and he got married in March! MARRIED! He is this total nerd-kid, and he gets this super hot girl who is SO sweet (and shy & quiet), and then a year later... he's married! It was crazy. I cried at the wedding (I blamed it on hormones though... my baby was 2.5 months old, lol)!

I had to attach a pic for you to see... u can't tell what a geek my bro is here... he was looking pretty good that day, lol! But look at her! Gorgeous!

I totally understand. My baby sis(21) has a boyfriend. They have been together for about 2 years now. Pretty decent guy. Well he broke up with her a couple of months ago (and I totally understand why--u would 2 if you knew my sis) but it broke my heart. :crying: My sis is not normally one to cry but she was crying and freaking out.:mad: I wanted to go beat him down. Needless to say, he came and apologized a couple days later. And so far happily ever after...
 
I understand. My baby brother (I have younger bros) just had a kid! He is 27. They got married 2 years ago which was hard enough to deal with.

:D :D That'd be my approach, yep. Okay, that'd be what I was thinking, but I'd be all, Hi, look at me being all sweetness and light *mumble*break his heart and I'll crush you like a fly, beyotch*mumblemumble*

It's pretty much impossible to completely stop thinking of them as the babies we want to protect and keep in that bubble forever.
 
Awwww that's great that you are so close with him. My brothers are all older than I am so they had girlfriends long before I started worrying! :p

Well kinda, I'm in New Hampshire, just over the MA line I'm closer to Boston I think! You in Maryland right? That's a bit further of a drive girl!
