*warning most of this is very silly*

so.. I am not big on football.. or baseball-- I still root for my teams of course, but I'm totally a hockey girl and the other sports usually bore me.

Anyway.. I decided (at some random weirdo point), that since I am doing this whole.. single mom thing .. raising a little boy.. I should make sure that I expose him to sports as well as all the other stuff.

Remind me to check the schedule so I know WHAT TIME stupid games are on ok? Sheesh.. 1pm. It's 330 now. Stinkin patriots :D

Granted, ce is in trouble and stuff.. so it's prolly good anyway..
 
Brady got hurt pretty early on too. Not coming back today.

I'm stuck with the Ravens. BLEGH. At least I got to see my Gmen on thursday night. Jordan's over at his bosses watching the Steelers (they're awesome and have sunday ticket so they invite us over to watch the steelers when it's not on regular cable here).

I love football. I hate baseball. Hockey is awesome.
 
I can't deal with sports in any form at all... neither can dh...
and we have two boys.

I'm raising them to be the Coen brothers.
 
lol.. well.. up until my weirdo moment, I Was perfectly content raising him to be the sweet artsy kid-- haha I dunno I'm having some weirdness issues with the fact that he's a boy lately- which is just ridiculous :D
 
My boy has NO interest in sports at all, he prefers drawing, and reading. We have football on all the time, the NFL Network is our fav channel LOL. Still, none of it rubbed off. I am a firm believer in the "kids are programmed to be the way they are" way of thinking to a certain point. Like you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink, kwim?

If he's artsy, there's no problem to expose him to other things, that's what I try to do with Benjamin. It just doesn't work with him LOL
 
BSAEBALL, FOOTBALL, NASCAR freaks we ALL are in this house.........My kids really get into the sports thing but they are starting to pick up on our little spaz-outs when things don't go our way and yell at the TV like we do!!!!!

Can't wait to watch the Bears in a few hours....GO STEELERS!!!! Boo Hoo, the Cubbies lost today :blink: but still 4 games ahead of the Brewers :thumbup: No race today thanks to Hannah!!!!
 
LOL...none of kids have every been into sports, but I just started to get into football about 2 yrs ago, so DS {7} has actually started to watch with us...and since he played baseball for the first time this year, he has watched on TV a few times! GO COLTS!:thumbup:
 
I'm a die-hard 49ers fan. Don't even walk in front of tv when the game is on. And if they are losing, you should stay far, far away from me... LOL!!!

I like baseball, don't care for hockey too much, grew up with racing and am over it now, oh I love the Sac Kings too.

Derrick will watch with me for a little while but then gets bored and goes back to his legos or star wars guys...

DH doesn't really care for sports all that much but he is doing fantasy football this year with some of the firefighters so I think he's starting to get into it more.
