Dream Appliances...

So I was watching TV the other night and saw ads for I think Electrolux appliances...I was thinking about them while I was cleaning and thought I'd post here and see what YOUR dream appliances are, lol...

So these Electrolux ones - the stove will boil a pot of water in 90 seconds. I find that completely amazing.

The washer/dryer will wash/dry your clothes in 36 minutes. It takes me like 20 minutes to wash and 80 minutes to dry a load...mind you I have an OLD washer/dryer set that desperately needs to be replaced, lol.

I'd *love* to have a Dyson...seriously, if my vacuum has actually died (though I think it's just a fanbelt), I'll be begging DH to splurge and get me a Dyson instead of investing in another cheap vacuum that doesn't last. I'm not even picky about what type...I just want something that actually works instead of just moving dirt around. LOL!

We were at DH's cousin's flip house yesterday and he installed "water on demand"...this thing is freaking AMAZING. Instead of a hot water heater and tank, it's like this little tiny thing on the wall and the cold water passes through it and instantly heats to like piping hot. You NEVER run out of hot water. DH says that if our hot water tank goes, we'll replace it with one of these babies. A total space saver, too, because instead of the big tank, you've got a little panel type thing on the wall.

So, yeah...I know appliances aren't a normal thing to drool over, but I'm wanting some of these things, lol. Though for the washer/dryer, I'd be happy to just get a front loading set, lol.

I'm dreaming of a dishwasher that actually works, in black or stainless. Amazingly, Jordan agreed to let me paint the cabinets white and do black countertops. So we'll get either stainless or black appliances. Granted who knows when we'll actually get to redo the kitchen, lol. I want all new stuff. We didn't have to buy any new appliances when we bought the house, which was great, but now I want new and more efficient things. :)

My SIL's fridge has a nifty thing in the freezer (it's an upside down fridge - the freezer is on the bottom, lol). Anyway, for the ice cubes, you fill the trays with water and stick them in this little container thingie...then when they've formed icecubes, you dump them and they go into the container below so that you can have a stash of icecubes. It's SO cool...I want one! LOL!

I dream of that washer/dryer set too Bree! And I want it up on drawers so I'm not bending over to load/unload it all day long!

My mom has one of those hotwater things in her kitchen (its just a small one that is on the sink) and its AWSEOME. Instant *hot* water. Not like sink hot. But "almost boiling" hot.

What else? Oh, I'd love to have heated floors. That radiant heat thing that they do in a lot of the Extreme Home Makeover homes.

I'd like a big honkin stainless steel fridge. I'd have snapped and bought one by now except the hole in my kitchen where the fridge goes is super tiny. Not amused.

I just got my dream washer and dryer.....the Electrolux! Bree, I love it! The fast cycle is for smaller loads, but it totally works. There are times when I have needed a couple things washed quickly and it just rocked it. Also, you don't have to select the water level...the machine automatically adjusts the water level to how much clothing you put in it...and I can tell you, it barely uses any water at all....so it is good for the environment. Oh, and you use very little soap as well...so that saves money. The dryer rocks...I love the steam feature. Anyway...I am livin the Electrolux dream. LOL!

I am one of those sad strange women who lusts appliances. It started when I was a kid and my Memere got a fridge with ice and water in the door. It was the best thing I had ever seen. So from about 6 on I would molest the appliances at Sears. So this is the perfect place for me to exoress my deepest desires.
I want a Dyson! I want a Huge Side-by-side refridgerator that can store enough food to feed the 7 of us for a week. (I hate the second trip to the store to restock). I want 2 the electolux or LG washers and dryers. (the laundrey is never DONE) And I want a 6 burner gas stove. If I could have them all in red, that would be perfect.

When I was in the city yesterday we passed an appliance store. In front there was a huge sign that said "CHOCOLATE LOVERS - NEW APPLIANCES IN HOT NEW CHOCOLATE COLOR". I would LOVE a washer/dryer set in chocolate brown!!!

I would also love a white fridge with the freezer on the bottom. The water feature would be nice, but the water here is NASTY, and so that would be a pointless option.

The hot water thing would be so cool! I also would love a central vac with kick thingy's under the cupboards. DH's parents have that, as well as my sister, and its so awesome. If I can't have that, I want a Dyson!

I also want/need a new oven. I would love a natural gas one, but they are so much more expensive, plus I'd have to hook up a natural gas line, and thats pricey too!

If only I could live my happy housewife dream, lol!!

I would love all stainless applicances

but especially
a new dishwasher that is quiet and gets the dishes clean!
a dyson ball
front loading washer and dryer
a fridge that has an icemaker
a double oven stove

My LG steam washer does this and I am so in love with that thing!! When our range dies we are replacing it with an induction one, I think they are the ones that boil water in like a minute, I can't wait! I'd love one of those big fridges that are like a side by side but the whole bottom is a pull out freezer....

well, I'm the oddball. I don't dream of appliances. ever.

we have nice appliances (all stainless) and they do what they're supposed to do. that's all I need really. dh knows if he ever tries to buy me some stupid appliance (including like a dyson or something) as a gift, he's in big trouble. that's sooo not a gift. :p

I live in an apartment, so this is still a far fetched dream for me...
But....

I want the Electrolux Washer and Dryers SOOOOOOO bad... and I want to be able to ZIP around getting all the clothes put away just as speedy as Kelly Ripa does in the commercial, that comes too right?

I also really really want the old fashioned looking HUGE kitchen appliances, I loooove huge viking ranges, and fridges...

I would die for a dyson, but cant afford $400.00 :(

and really, I dont care what kind of dishwasher, but could it please just WASH the dishes on its own??? Im SO sick of washing the dishes to put them in the dishwasher....... whats the point? :glare:

I LOOOOOOOOOVE appliances though, good thread Bree...

I want a red toaster.

really.. that's all. To match my other stuff.. well and a new red microwave would be good too, since mine is dead. I live in a teeny tiny apartment, I Don't have a dishwasher or my own washer/dryer etc................ but top of the list is just the toaster (and I don't even like toast haha).

Target has good red appliances, and my mom got her red microwave at Bi-Mart for only $40.00 and its a good one..

My kitchen is turquoise and brown, and I found this website that sells tons of color coordinating appliances and housewares and are actually really good quality.. its called....
