Dr. House

Ok, did anyone else see that coming tonight? I'm still shocked by it, even though I didn't think the actor would be on the show long.

most definately not what I was expecting ...esp after the "preview" from last week. I thought the other story line was a bit blah.

Nooooooo, did he die? I haven't seen the new ones because we moved to Poland. What a bummer, I really liked him.

I thought it really strange that they had an obit set up on the House Site - to further the storyline.

Totally didn't see it coming since I purposefully don't read spoilers to it.

Dh and I were both shocked!! I knew it had to do with him wanting to leave the show...but I didn't know what the reason was. DH and I are both really sad....not because we especially like "Kutner" the character...but we both just really really like Kal Penn!!! :(

I read rumors on forums that Kal Penn was really dead & that he got a job w/the White House. I figured the first wasn't true b/c that would've been all over the news! Now it's nice to know why he's gone though. But, I still wish they would've just moved him or made something happen to him & place him in a coma so if he wanted to come back later, he still could. But, now, he's gone for good & cannot come back...ever! :( Sad! :(

I read that he was going to be working with the president as well. I think it's awesome for him! But, I totally didn't see the suicide coming!

I'm brokenhearted that they would do that to his character. I feel like we were completely robbed of a goodbye. Which is how they wanted us to feel, since the characters felt the same way. I love Kal. I love our President. It's like peanut butter and chocolate, two great things that'll work great together. But, uggh. That was owwie.

Have any of you guys seen Kal's absolutely tremendous movie, The Namesake? It's a beautiful movie.

the whole episode was just depressing. not that it shouldn't have been given what happened... just saying i could've done without it.

but that's why I thought it made great TV. It evoked huge emotion not only from us, but from the characters, instead of just everyone being sad that he's going off to another job. And it really does play against House..which is evidentally a catalyst for the rest of the season's scripting.

It was a sad episode, but it really depicts what can happen in real life.........and now we'll see how different people will handle the aftermath which would not be so dramatic if he just left on his own.
